Yeah they really screwed some folks that were waiting for the new body style. Mine is a 2004, the new body was out and they kept making the lightnings on the old body style. They called it "heritage." The lightning people knew the next one was DOA. Do you remember the show prototype? They had that "cold shot" that used the A/C system to charge a coil in the intercooler to give you a 15 second shot of chilled air into the supercharger. It gave a 50+ horsepower boost. Like nitrous light. I had psysco guys already planning how to over boost the shot. Instead they made the raptor. 20k worth of fox shocks on a <50k truck. Nice truck, but we' far from Baja.

im all for supporting our country but when "american companies" make cars that last to 100,000 miles and japs make them last till 300,000 im buying jap. regardless it was said they are made my america plants here in the usa. chevrolet makes alot of trucks in canada. and they are all public companies so technically any one in the world can be an "owner" of ford etc.
