ogfarmer 138 Posted August 6, 2014 done again, I voted yesterday but it was recording my vote as NO, I think this poll was broken cause when I tried to vote it put the bullet in the no box and quickly went to results page. I was able to vote again and it let me vote yes.
GRIZ 3,369 Posted August 6, 2014 http://newjersey.news12.com/polls/question-of-the-day-gun-permits-1.8970514 Right now, we're losing. No wonder.NJ won't give people who live here permits.

bhunted 887 Posted August 6, 2014 No.... We are not allowed to carry here, neither should outsiders. However, if we were, reciprocity would most likely not be an issue. Because of NJ's shet attitude, there are other things others don't reciprocate either. Example: Real Estate Licenses. Most attitudes in that industry is tit for tat. Can't make it any plainer. Yea but that would be the only loophole we needed. How many people here have CCW in Utah or Florida... it wouldnt be hard if they allowed reciprocate CC permits because then everyone would carry. Recon Racoon 49 Posted August 6, 2014 I voted yes. If New Jersey recognizes other state permits but won't grant us ours, then we just carry an accepted states permit. If you can't beat the system, cheat it.

For that reason, it won't happen or they will close that loophole. They are just that spitefull.

States having reciprocity with other states usually require their own residents to have a permit from the state they reside in.

Newtonian 453 Posted August 7, 2014 When I voted "yes" beat "no" by more than two to one. Another self-selective poll. I estimate we'd lose by at least 4:1 if you asked the guy on the street.
T Bill 649 Posted August 7, 2014 Mr Sweeney has already determined the poll results for us in NJ.

Worn_Holster 2 Posted August 8, 2014 The againsts don't even bother with this poll because they know that the legislature is on their side and this poll is spoken on deaf ears... All the comments that I read were well expressed and to the point, but still not enough to make a difference.
