JohnnyB 4,325 Posted February 2, 2017 So looking at the application it says copy of front and back copy of your valid concealed carry. what if you don't have one what have other successful recipients done? Another question is Resident State License No? what have you done with these questions. Leave Resident State License # space BLANK. Send copies of nothing. You will get your permit! Zuko94 14 Posted February 2, 2017 You should read the web site that directs you to the permit page. You do not have to send a copy of your states concealed carry permit, nor a letter from your local PD. Leave Resident State License # space BLANK. Send copies of nothing. You will get your permit! Thanks everyone. i was reading the site but i wanted clarification. If I'm successful i want to take the UT CC class.

Darrenf 422 Posted February 9, 2017 http://www.nh1.com/news/breaking-nh-bill-repealing-concealed-carry-permit-approved-in-statehouse/ As far as I know they will continue to issue non resident permits.

Indianajonze 379 Posted February 9, 2017 great day for the people of new hampshire. i'm really happy for them. i know that in other constitutional carry states (maine for example), they still keep the permitting process for certain situations. hopefully they'll do the same in nh
sroc112 24 Posted February 10, 2017 So does this apply for only residents of NH or for anyone visiting NH as well?
Indianajonze 379 Posted February 10, 2017 Constitutional carry is not tied to residency. If you're in a cc state and are a US citizen (not prohibited), bring your gun because you may carry by authority of the United States Constitution, Amendment II Sent from my Nexus 6P

Darrenf 422 Posted February 24, 2017 Congratulations! Now grab your gun and carry in PA while you still can! Does this include Philly? I had a PA resident saying he could carry anywhere in PA but Philly, but when I challenged him to show the law stating that, he could not come up with anything. Any thoughts? Sota 1,191 Posted February 24, 2017 Thank you. for future reference, pafoa.org ("poofa" as they hate to be called ) is a better source of information regarding carrying in PA. also add handgunlaw.us to your list of places to reference periodically.

jcc 6 Posted February 24, 2017 My check was cashed on February 22nd. Permit should be in hand by the 1st. My check was cashed 2/22, not today as I originally had said, I just received the permit today.
JohnnyB 4,325 Posted February 24, 2017 My understanding is that if you have a CCW recognized by PA, such as NH, you can carry concealed in Philly. Open carry is a no go in Philly only. I was told with a Recognized CCW, it's not illegal to OC in Philly, but you will get stopped and harassed. Do I have this right?

I was told with a Recognized CCW, it's not illegal to OC in Philly, but you will get stopped and harassed. Do I have this right? Close enough. It is unlikely you will be stopped and harassed. But the cops in Philly believe they can ask to see your permit because of the difference in Commonwealth law, so anything can happen. Most likely they will see your gun and ignore you. It's not as bad as it once was. Philly was sued over that crap and their policies and retraining were changed. So actual harassment is unlikely.
