T Bill 649 Posted August 17, 2016 Report them to www.flagkeepers.org they will send them a letter. If that is a flag of another nation on the left, the American flag is on the wrong side and should not be displayed at a lower height.
302w 83 Posted August 17, 2016 We have members here that have upside down US Flags as their avatar.... Just sayin'I think it is.. distasteful to fly an American flag upside down as a sign of protest. Fly it upside down below a Pakistani flag?
Rob0115 1,105 Posted August 17, 2016 Didn't the SCOTUS upheld the right to flag burning as free speech? This is what's wrong with the US we tolerate way to much bullshit not to hurt anyone's feelings. Maybe mine are hurt but I'm an old white dude so no one gives a shit about me except for the ridiculous amount I pay in taxes.
Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted August 17, 2016 I'd fucking take that American flag down and keep it for myself that is a disgrace and they do not deserve to fly my flag like that
Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted August 17, 2016 I'd fucking take that American flag down and keep it for myself that is a disgrace and they do not deserve to fly my flag like that If I was to go so far as to steal, I would take the Paki flag and fix the American one for them

Ace08066 2 Posted August 17, 2016 Very possible they just don't realize their error... I'd politely bring it up to them. And if they already know exactly what it is they've done... Well... *Drifts off into a string of creative thoughts*

Rob0115 1,105 Posted August 18, 2016 Feel free to burn it as long as you are wrapped in it. Maybe I wasnt clear. I don't support flag burning but it is free speech jut like we also find the 2nd amendment to be important. I certainly don't support some foreigner disgracing the flag in socialist jersey city. Hope that helps.
Sota 1,191 Posted August 18, 2016 I will support your right to speak no matter how distasteful that speech may be to me. Just as I expect you to do the same for me. That is the price of "freedom," and I pay it gladly. A calm, casual conversation with the owner/flyer of those flags might be in order, but then is it if we truly believe in being a society of "freedom?" Schrödinger's cat 87 Posted August 18, 2016 A calm, casual conversation with the owner/flyer of those flags might be in order, but then is it if we truly believe in being a society of "freedom?" Sure. I'm not from the government, you can ignore me, I'm just asking if you know that you are disgracing my country and insulting me by flying my flag upside down. If he says yes I know, piss off then your comment is true, the freedom that is his right stops me from doing anything about it. Although my freedom of speech may not make him very happy that day. mipafox 438 Posted August 18, 2016 What the heck were you doing in Jersey City? Doesn't look like intentional disrespect to me. People are just dumb. They might be conveying a point by flying upside down but probably don't understand the position of the other flag, which is quite separate from the US flag by distance anyway. Not above, not below, not next to, but on the other side of the porch. My nearest borough has some houses with inverted US flags followed by Gadsen flags. I gotta tell you, it doesn't insult me one bit. I take it as an attempted display at patriotism.
