Caine 147 Posted October 30, 2009 It's an interesting observation. I know a lot of the other IT guys I've worked with over the years have had at least a passing interest in guns. I don't particularly advertise that I have guns, but if it eventually comes up, I've never gotten the typical "what do you need that for?" from IT guys. I don't particularly advertise that I have guns, but if it eventually comes up, I've never gotten the typical "what do you need that for?" from IT guys. that's because most IT guys are fairly open minded. And just a bit..off. I'm no exception. I'm debating framing ken's pic of me with his mossberg and hanging it prominently in my office, just to see the effect. Matt 0 Posted March 11, 2010 I work for the US Army at Picatinny Arsenal. I got a few job offers in various divisions at Picatinny after I graduated from college with a MechE degree (I know 5 or 6 guys that work there currently as civilian engineers). I ended up going into real estate instead but I often regret the decision to turn down those jobs. I currently work for a large construction manager / developer in NYC. Chad 3 Posted March 11, 2010 Service Tech for Ingersoll Rand. I service, repair and maintain Industrial Class Air Compressors upto 500HP and Moisture Obsorbtion Systems using either Dessicant or Refrigerent upto 5000CFM. How far will you travel? I have 10 compressors that I need monthly service on. They are in Freehold, Marlboro, Old Bridge and Oakhurst. They all have moisture absorbent systems as well as automatic drains on timers and moisture jars at each drop (approx 50 at each location). I don't know the name of the company that we use now, but I'd rather give a member here the business, if you are interested.
