It's a tiny shack near St Peter's in New Brunswick. Wednesday is $1.25 chili dog day! 3 chilidogs and a soda for 5 bucks even.. can't beat that! In my opinion, the best hot dog in the area so far. His burgers are good too. Some cool combinations of toppings on his menu.

local hot dog stand, saberets, mine were two with red onion sauce, john had 2 with kraut and spicey mustard, the boy had 2 with mustard, relish and red onion sauce, the other boy had one with ketchup..

That's one of things I miss most about leaving civilization... dirty water dogs. I grew up with them, and there's nothing better.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Rut's Hut over in Clifton MMMMM

And I had nothing for lunch today due to having to go for a stress test today, so I am waiting patiently for dinner, I hope its something good

Rut's Hut has been on my "To go to" list since forever.. just pretty far and keep forgetting to go..

I wasn't impressed with Jimmy Buff's though.. and I went to Both the Scotch Plains and East Hanover Locations.

Do I hear a NJGF get together forming at Rut's Hut in the near future. If we wanna do it, now's the time to do it. You can since outside and not sweat your gonads off

If you want good sushi buffet, check out Ichiumi in the Menlo mall complex. Ichiumi's roots are in NYC, being one of the best sushi places in the City. They branched out, and the Menlo location is their first non-NYC area. I've been there a couple times, and it outclasses everyone else. I've been to the different Minado locations, as well as Makkoli's (which is still one of my favorite)... as well as the smaller no name places... and Ichiumi is by far the best. Definitely a bit pricey, but hell, its sushi buffet-- what do you expect.

As for lunch, a cheesesteak from Aljon's in Plainsboro

Todai's in Honolulu, Hawaii

All you can eat Asian buffet

wow

There is another decent sushi buffet down the street a few miles is Makino Chaya at Aloha Tower. A great local place is the Side Street Inn on Hopaka Street near the mall. It is a real local place with some interesting food.

Have you guys ever heard of a Steakzilla! ?

1 lb of Fresh Rib Eye, your choice of cheese, and onions on a big ole Italian roll.

Ted's Stop - South Amboy

Lol, I go see Ted at least once a week. I usually get the regular sized though (1/3 pound)... Delicious.. He beats ANY of the local places around IMO, and most of the places in Philly itself.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
