ronoverdrive 0 Posted October 2, 2009 PA or DE. I got friends in both and family in PA plus I still have family in NJ. If I was to move to someplace like Bristol PA it'd only add 15 minutes to my commute to work otherwise I can always try for a contractor position. 1911Fan 1 Posted October 24, 2009 I was planning on buying land here in Colorado before moving to Jersey to come back and vacation and eventually retire on, I'd be happier than **** on a stick if my missus gave up on NJ sooner than that though. My wife is from Colorado so she is just waiting for my son to be old enough to go back. Right now, all the grandparents help with daycare and as soon as he is old enough to go to school - Hello freedom! Any recommendations of nice towns for outdoors people? She is from gypsum which is a little too far away from civilization for her!

bbk 188 Posted October 24, 2009 Any recommendations of nice towns for outdoors people? She is from gypsum which is a little too far away from civilization for her! There are way too many to be named... it really depends though. Would you want to be on the front range or further west into the actual Rockies? AtlanticCounty 0 Posted October 24, 2009 where would you go if you were to leave NJ, according to jim gearhart on 101.5 taxes are suppose to continually increase. They also announced that the public sector has now outgrown the private sector. So if taxes force you out of the state im just wondering what state you would consider moving to. Colorado or Wyoming. Wyoming has the best tax environment to boot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyoming#Taxes
NickySantoro 211 Posted October 24, 2009 I'll retire in a bit over 2.5 years. After some research I've decided to check out some places in the southern states starting with some of the areas outside of Columbia, SC. It will definitely be to an area where I can legally carry without more than a minimal amount of administrative BS. Having been on the wrong end of a mugging/stabbing years ago, accessible CCW is now a non-negotiable issue.
Sigman 41 Posted October 27, 2009 I've been in Arkensas - very cool place to live. Way different than around here, you actually feel like your free.
