I'll start. "The sound of a pump shotgun being racked is enough to send the perp runnin out the house!"

Whatchu got? I have more but I'm sure they'll all be said in the upcoming posts.

Snopes

The handgrip of the M16 rifle was made by Mattel. When the gun was first introduced in Vietnam, soldiers noticed the toy company's logo embossed on the handgrip and complained. Later shipments arrived without the imprint, but the grips were still manufactured by Mattel.

I am unsure if that is saying its false that the whole rifle was made by mattel (which it is of couse false) but the grips/stocks were

1. Where was the mark?

2. What was the mark?

3. Was the mark raised or stamped?

Inside the grip and stock. Only visible on stock when stripped.

MATTEL No logo or trademarking.

Raised block letters.

One would think that if there really were Mattel grips, and there's no evidence that Mattel ever made any parts for real guns, that someone would have snapped a picture to prove all those internet naysayers wrong. That evidence has yet to surface.

"This Hk 45 is a great first handgun" - As told to a banker who banker who came in looking for a gun. (new shooter) at Cheyenne Mountain.

"You need this Glock 23 (40 cal), it is a great first handgun." As told to a pair of woman buying their first handgun, with zero handgun experience at all. Were also sold some Hornady Critical Defense ammo.

From King of Prussia Gun Show...

Guy 1 to buddy: "Look, these (Mosins) fire the same 7.62 round as my AK"

Me to Guy 1. "No, they do not, I would not try loading 7.62x39 into the Mosin."

Guy 1 to me. "No, they do, they both say 7.62 on them."

Me to Guy 1. "7.62 is the diameter of the bullet, the mosin is 7.62x54, your AK is a 7.62x39"

Guy 1 to me. "The part after the 7.62 does not matter, it is the 7.62 that the round."

Me:
