Sort of a tangent, but something that has happened to us with stupid people that worked for us. Telemarketers call offering a free trade magazine to the person who answers the phone, no commitment required. They ask the employee for name and birth date to confirm the offer. Six months later they send a bill for several hundred dollars because the promotional offer was not canceled and they say they have a person's name and even got their birth date to prove that person agreed to the offer. Did I pay them? No.
