Lion X6 Semi-Automatic Shotgun - WOW!

Recommended Posts

I just got the Lion X6 shotgun, and all I can say is WOW.  I'd compare this in reliablity and functionality with the Belelli semi-auto shotgun but at a fraction of the cost.  Until I bought this, I've never heard of this brand.  It is made in Turkey, and they are new to me.  I found a few youtube video's for this gun  Here is one >>>>

I bought this from a guy in New Hope PA, (right across the river from me) and he has more of them to sell.  They are $400, and probably worth double that.  I don't want to sound like I'm a salesman, because I'm not, but if anyone wants one, I got it from General Defense Outfitters. This is a one-man operation, but he is the sole distributer for Lion in our area.  His number is 215-297-5444.  He's also an authorized sig dealer, and sigs are my friend.

Where is he in New Hope? His website does not list a physical address and his PO Box is a Lahaska post office. I just came from having lunch in New Hope.

OP, I assume you're in Lambertville - what do you think of Boan's Marine?

A good semi with target loads is like butter on the shoulder. I can do 4 rounds of trap on my Beretta and feel great the next day.

I'm not saying the Lion is a beretta but if it's a decent semi the recoil is awesome. I shot an 18" M2 with buckshot and it was butter

no..its a semi auto

Without looking it up evil feature on semi auto shotguns are pistol grip, folding or telescopic stock, and over 6 rd capacity and you're allowed one. That would make it legal in NJ if all it has is the pistol grip.

^^^THIS^^^^

Semi auto shotguns cannot have pistol grips, regardless of the other evil features

NJAC 13:54-1.2, para 2.iii says, semi-auto shotgun with at least TWO of the following is illegal:

1. folding or telescopic stock

2. pistol grip

3. fixed mag over 6 rds or

4. detachable magazine

Looking to sell my Beretta 1301 Tac. Black, standard stock, extended factory 7 round magazine, WITH replaceable chokes. Gun is like new, with all original packaging, paperwork, and accessories. Has been fired less than 250 rounds, and is in perfect shape. 7+1 round model, made NJ compliant with a 2 round limiter. I bought this gun brand new less than a month ago. I’ll include a Beretta hard plastic, foam lined gun case. I have a 1301 comp incoming, and while I would love to keep the tac, it’s just not practical, so I am letting it go.

Located in 08724, will travel to a ffl for transfer within a reasonable distance. Would prefer not to deal with shipping.
Please, serious buyers only. Ask any questions and I’ll answer them asap!

Hey everyone,  I'm a new gun owner and I love the gun community!  What I don't love is NJ and their ambiguous and backwards gun laws.  I wanted to get a pump action bullpup shotgun and was looking at the Kel Tec KS7 and KSG.  While trying to compare them with other brands I found it was almost impossible to find a list of pump action bullpup shotguns for around $1,000 or less.  Does anyone have any good recommendations besides the black aces tactical?  Thank you in advance for your time and help.  Have a great memorial day and God bless those who lost their loves making the ultimate sacrifice

    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
