So I went to.....

Recommended Posts

..... walk my dog and he took a leak on a fire hydrant across the street. I was left wondering what was he thinking when a phone pole was right next to him. Oh the humanity, what are we to do? I'm at a lose here. I feel so depressed for him...[emoji849]

That is all... (Sheep I tell ya, nothing but sheep)..

This thread started in lieu of all the dumb topics that end up with the OP left in his dismay, shaking in his shorts and not knowing what to do...

So lets see how many posts can be left in this thread of any similar nature to the original format/title. [emoji57][emoji849][emoji13][emoji3]

^i remember seeing a ridiculous post like that before..

Guy sold some 7.62 firearm, but it was not NATO (7.62x54 me thinks?) it was 39, and the guy got into this huge argument with the seller over it not firing and the ammo being too big... It was a very, very long post of back and forths and then him trying to explain to the idiot that he bought the wrong ammo and that he needed 7.62x39 or whatever.

It was literally the funniest thing i read in a long time.. Pictures uploaded and all showing that the ammo was too big... i died.

You guys are getting off topic. There is no discussion here. Just a little fun.

Your post should always start of as - "So I...."

Another example: So I got my pistol permit and I have no idea what to buy. Is a pink Derringer good for penis carry?[emoji379][emoji102][emoji23]

Seriously, there a plenty of these dorky posts on this forum and others. Have some fun with them.

Some I just shake my head in disgust, others I have to laugh. Go for it!

...the fridge to grab the Jelly.  I wanted a PB&J.   So WTF... when is it the case that ALL three components are here???

Have J.. and PB... but no bread....

One time had Bread and PB.. NO effin' J.

Then.... Had Bread.. and J.... and some godawful excuse for PB that I was expected to stir before using.....

So I went to WaWA and got a RB and CC instead.  L&T ...Oil, Vinegar, S&P.

So I finally got my new gun to the range and put 200 rounds through it. No malfunctions but I was expecting 1" groups at 50 yards offhand with my cousins reloads that he made from repurposed lead from his fathers salvage yard 30 years ago. Not to mention that I have a hard time hitting a 10" paper plate from 7 yards on a good day. No, there must be something wrong with the gun.

What do you guys think ? Should I go back to the gun shop and demand my money back including my NICS fee ? This gunshop sucks by the way. The one guy who helped me out was busy playing pokemon on his phone rather then doing his job. I mean I got the gun off gunauction.com for $20 less then they sell it for at their shop so they should be happy that they didnt have to order the gun for me in the first place. They still made out well on the transfer fee right? Such a-holes! Will never do biz with them again. AAARG!!!

So I went to find some porn on the internet but my browser kept freezing up due to some "long running script" BS. So I went to buy a Playboy but there is no skin in it anymore. So I just drank whiskey and went to sleep.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
