Schrödinger's cat 87 Posted October 30, 2016 I've heard of similar stories where people set up game cams and were worried they'd be stolen. They set up a cheap one low down and in sight, and one that gets better photos pointed at the cheap camera from a higher up and less obvious spot. But a better one up high to ensure the perp can be visually identified. Then call the police and have charges filed for the value of the stolen or damaged lower cam. Not to mention tresspassing and anything else that could come into play. My cousin worked as a security manager in a department store for years. He knows where and what to rig up for full color streaming at a minimum of cost. The only issue might be the fact that this sort of equipment is intended for indoors, but it might work through windows.

If there's any IR stuff, it's not going to work through windows - you'll get too much reflection back. Keep indoor cameras indoors and outdoor cameras outdoors. Slab Sides 20 Posted November 1, 2016 So I picked up the Bushnell, after messing around with settings and position mounted it about 9' up one of my trees, ran a coupla screws with fender washers through the strap. I replaced my Trump MAGA sign and secured it to a 18" stake with deep sea line. (lol) Now I just

concrete_boots 19 Posted November 2, 2016 You should get a larger sign this time. Search WiFi camera on Amazon.. Why have I never heard of people stealing, running over, or damaging any H-> signs ?
brucin 923 Posted November 2, 2016 You should get a larger sign this time. Search WiFi camera on Amazon.. Why have I never heard of people stealing, running over, or damaging any H-> signs ? Because you never see them. If I has a dollar for every Hillary sign I've seen in the last 2 months I would have $3.

jackandjill 683 Posted November 2, 2016 50cents for me. The other half of sign said something about "Prison 2016". BTW, came across some "news" on how folks are getting creating and using mouse traps etc to deter desperate people from stealing Trump signs.
Kevin125 4,772 Posted November 3, 2016 Remarkable how Trump signs get vandalized but seems rare for Clinton signs.
concrete_boots 19 Posted November 3, 2016 $2 for me Just today I saw a 50's year old lady with a large Trump/Pence sticker on car, and a neighbor of a job I was on today told me she has worked at the (most recently closed AC casino) Trump Taj and said from day 1 she received a yearly raise every year when Trump owned it and nothing but good things about him. Can't go anywhere within 25 miles of my house without seeing an abundance of Trump signs, stickers, hats, you name it...but HilLIARy will slay him in NJ somehow. Rigged system. jm1827 284 Posted November 8, 2016 Saw someone in FLA, my wife said it was a friend of ours but I am not 100% certain, that had someone running over his Trump signs on his lawn, so he added a board with nails below the sign and caught several people changing flat tires after they ran over his signs. bennj 215 Posted November 8, 2016 Friend from the old neighborhood was having Trump signs stolen so he set up a camera and got a pic of a lady stealing a sign. He had her pic made to poster size with the title "loser" across it and posted it next to the Trump signs still standing. He said it was worth it because he wonders how many people who pass may know her.

Slab Sides 20 Posted November 9, 2016 I couldn't get the cam setup reliably. I got a couple images of a guy in a hoodie running onto my lawn towards the sign, seeing my mods (see pic) and running out of frame. It was at night and pretty blurry. I initially set it up in photo mode so the IR flash wasn't on too long. After that, I tried to set it up for video, but as a Brit would say "No joy mate." However, my "modified" sign was pretty reliable. haha
