No, I just got home from a bad day at work.  I had planned on going but the day went sideways.  Fell off a dump truck pushing stone off and wanged my head pretty good.

Ouch! Maybe go to the ER to get checked?

Already did, went to one of those urgent care places.  Dr (or whatever she was) took xray, said I have a thick skull and I'll live.

< thinking about really dirty reply, about something else on the body that's really thick >

Fuck those Urgent Care places.  Their main job is to keep workers comp cases low.  You could walk in with your head in a tool bag and you'll be told its not bad go back to work.  Get yourself into an ER before you go to sleep.

While it hurts like a mutha, it wasn't as bad as it looked.  I didn't even need a stitch.  Head cuts, apparently even small ones, just bleed a lot.

We could have told you that you have a thick skull! :D I'll leave the other references to others.

But seriously, I agree with @BobA, get thee to an ER. I'm less concerned about the outside bleeding than I am about internal stuff, especially with ringing in your ear!

Fairly low turnout. Actually, very disappointing turnout. My guess was around 4-500.

Met silence dogood at Subway, where I was quite late and still the 2nd forum member there.

We walked over to war memorial about 30 minutes before scheduled start, maybe 150-200 people were there, with more trickling in.

Some good speakers, though I did not remember most names, there were a few familiar faces from last month.

Was nice to meet everyone and put faces to the screen names. If I missed you, I'm sorry. I was in a black shirt with my logo on it, malice hat, blue backpack, and big camera moving around the crowd. (See Ray Ray's pictures above, I managed to get in 2 of them)

I need some down time before I work on the pics, will try to have em up by tomorrow.

Scorpio, hope all is well and ya feel better quickly.

Thanks everyone who made it out.

Nice putting names to some faces. And seeing some familiar faces again. Yeah I agree sound was pretty horrible. But with the breeze it was a nice day to be outside for a few hours. Couldn't have been better weather.

W2MC, Zeke and Malice - Good to meet you for the first time.
Nick and Raymond - good to see you again.
Anyone know anything about the NJ Light Foot brigade?  Have never heard of that organization before today.
PM me about them.

I counted 350 - 400.   ‘Sound system’ was pretty awful.   Nice day though..

Sounds similar to other rallies.

Gun Rights Advocates Gather Across The U.S.

Gun rights demonstrators rallied at state capitols across the U.S. Saturday to show support for gun ownership. A group called The National Constitutional Coalition of Patriotic Americans created Facebook events for pro-gun gatherings in all 50 states, and its co-founder David Clayton told the Associated Press that organizers secured permits for rallies in 45 states. It has been three weeks since Parkland, Fla. high school students and their allies organized a day of public rallies and marches to push for more gun regulation.

Associated Press reporters counted about 100 people at the event in Cheyenne, Wyo., more than 400 at the event in Dover, Del. and more than 135 people at the event in Atlanta, Ga. Organizers of the event in Augusta, Maine told the Associated Press about 800 people showed up there.

Corey Stewart, a Republican who is now making his second run for Senate in Virginia, spoke at the event in Richmond, Va. He told NPR that though he hasn't heard an official count, he estimates that about 200 people were in attendance.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
