IMO Kelly has a right to be extremely pissed. Frankly - if I were him, next time out I would nominate Denny, regardless of how he does.

 

I am surprised at how Kelly continues to be able to master just about anything thrown at him. IMO he's the best shooter on the red team.

So why does he keep ending up in elimination over the cowboy who cant shoot for sh!t? My guess is he must be an even bigger pecker than we see. Its the only explanation. Like Peter said, Kelly talks his way into eliminations LOL. BTW I think Peter is the strongest overall shooter for red team.

I think its just age difference. He's like what 22? while the others ar mid 30 and up. He just has a different perspective on life.

 

I think Kelly is the best natural shooter. He has been in every red team elimination and won every one. For a "rifle guy" he's done pretty good with pistols, shotguns and bows.

I think Kelly is getting lucky myself. He got lucky Andre was retarded and couldnt figure out poker with the hand hierarchy cheat sheet staring him in the face. He got lucky that Brad had shitty throws because other than his one 3 shot string he was behind.

Bryan, it was awesome, of them to shoot clays. In the beginning of the episode, I was just talking to Anastasia how for this shooting show, they did not do anything with Shotguns yet....

Should be interesting once they make it every person for them self. Confidence course + shooting looks really promising... something I wish they would've done sooner. I figured that was going to be their initial approach (with the first episode making them run/crawl around), not that a lot of the challenges haven't been pretty cool in their own right.

Im never threatened based on age, only holster wear! Im not THAT much of a Kelly hater, im just unimpressed with him so far. I just have yet to see him pull off any shooting feat that made me go OK now I see the skills.....

I see a lot of specialists and no "all around" contestants. I think there are a few guys on here (and maybe some girls too) who are basically looking at these challenges and saying "I could do that and in some cases better than they"

Variety is the spice of life! I'm just saying I would like to see some other *modern* pistols being used, but hey, its business. It seems to me that Beretta probably won't let them use other modern pistols based on whatever advertising agreement they have (they have only used historic pistols otherwise) but we shall see.

I think denny deserved to go at least once in the past two episodes, he performed horribly. He did good in practice, but when he put the pressure on himself by saying how good he was, he performed like garbage.

The past two events have been HIS specialties, and both performances were very underwhelming . I'm not one to criticize too much because I probably couldn't do what he can; but still, there's a point where a person has to be accountable (considering he didn't go to the elimination round either time).

The show is growing on me. It is a huge plus it appeals to the general public. The level of drama is minimal compared to other similar programs.

Based on performance alone he should be gone for sure. Which gets back to why Kelly ended up on the block 2 times in a row. Methinks those on the show are seeing something we are not(well some of us anyway ). My prediction is JJ or Blake as it has been all along. The only way either of them is getting shut down is if there is some stupid competition that boils down more to luck than skill like marble shooting or something! And I dont mean shooting at marbles, I mean marble shooting LOL.

kelly's performance surprised me in some of the events. I think he learns fast and is able to apply what he learns under pressure. That in itself is a special element that you can see only a few have, denny who is a specialist in revolvers performed like crap under pressure. Also being able to come out on top of every elimination showdown shouldn't go unnoticed.

 

I will agree with you on JJ and Blake, they are pretty sharp, almost to the point of being cocky. Hopefully that doesn't play against them in future episodes.

Not almost They are Cocky! But I think they have good reason to be. I was chatting with one of JJ's former firearms instructors from DHS yesturday. He said it was rather interesting when he came through the training class :shock:
