What do you guys use to attach targets to target boards?

Recommended Posts

If I'm using my own backers (at Range 14 for example), I actually use aerosol spray glue: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/e ... 7/Super77/

Takes me two quick sprays, then placing the target in place without worrying about it coming loose, etc. I picked up a few cans of the super 77 from my local ACE for $9 a can or so.

The answer changes a lot depending on what kind of backers your range has...

My club has plywood backers. I use a T25 staple gun.

Just make sure it cannot take more than 15 staples, and you transport it locked, and separately from the staples.:lol::lol:

Chris from MDTS used this method for the recent handgun class and it worked really well.

I use a lot of adhesive bullseye targets (shoot-n-c, caldwell, etc.), so mostly I just stick them to the cardboard. I've recently picked up some full size silhouette targets and for those I use a staple gun - http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00968514000P

Won't cut down on the bulk, but I have a huge range bag.. so not much of an issue for me I guess.
