Hi all. I've been lurking around the forum for a few weeks now. I was waiting to post until I had something to write about. Well, I grew up in Delran, so am technically a NJ native, but left a couple days after high school graduation for the Air Force. Well, I am back after a 15 year absence and decided to go through the process of getting my FID and pistol permits. I was surprised, especially after hearing some of the horror stories on this forum, that mine took only two weeks from dropping off the paperwork at the station to getting a letter saying the paperwork was ready to pick up. My hats off to the Westampton PD.

 

I have a Glock 17 but recently, thanks to my father-in-law who, if I had to rate, is a mid level firearms collector and because of this forum, my interests have expanded and I would like to learn more about rifles (old and new), distance shooting and possibly even reloading. My thanks to everyone that has helped me learn this far. I am a member at the Delran Junior Marksmanship Range, will be joining Range 14 at Fort Dix, and want to try to make it to Shore Shot soon. Hope to see some of you out there and learn even more. Thanks again.

Where do you shoot at?

 

I currently don't have a home range but I have made the trip to brick a couple times to meet a friend there. I work at the base so I will be forking over the $30 for Range 14 this summer. You really can't go wrong for that price.
