usnmars 136 Posted October 29, 2011 I could cover a couple of caliber conversions if anyone is interested. It is amazing what 30-06 brass can be turned into.

Maksim 1,504 Posted October 29, 2011 My office would be the place. Room for 6 to 8 comfy. Got a single stage that can be mounted anywhere.
zoid 24 Posted October 31, 2011 This is a great idea. Learning in person from those who are experienced would chop the learning curve down 100%. I learned off youtube videos and Google fu. I did have a friend of mine via forum who helped me a lot and that was the most help of all. But still, it's hard to learn just by e-mail and not being able to see or visually explain. If someone had just explained it to me in person with the press I would have learned in one day what took me several weeks and several wasted bullets, primers, powders, and hair lost from stress! Here's what happens when you learn on your own and don't have a clue (yes these are mine):

zoid 24 Posted October 31, 2011 Zoid, mind if I use that picture? Go ahead. I'm sure the community needs a what NOT to do picture, LOL! Zoid needs to go to that workshop ASAP! ell oh ell Yeah, I would not mind learning even more. I pick up bits and pieces via forums, range members, reading, etc. It all helps. But when someone shows you in person or answers a question in person it makes things 1 million times easier to understand. For the record my rounds don't look like that now. I'd have blown all my handguns/hands up. Haha.
PeteF 1,044 Posted October 31, 2011 Hey at least he realized they were no good. I've seen some reloads at shows that just scared the s&%t out of me. From a so called experienced reloader.

I'd have blown all my handguns/hands up. Haha. I hear ya. Just last week I had to stop shooting USPSA because I had some messed up loads. Approx a half charge in some. Couldn't figure out why. Turns out a screw was loose on my powder measure. I also had about 10 squibs in my first 1000 rounds. That's why I want to attend, to pick up some tips and tricks. Col. Mortimer 11 Posted November 1, 2011 Frank: I'm up for a class. I can teach and learn at the same time. Why waste my mistakes when others can learn from them.
hd2000fxdl 422 Posted November 1, 2011 I'm up for a class. I can teach and learn at the same time. Why waste my mistakes when others can learn from them. Teaching is good, I have my daughter teach me her homework as if I was a student and she was the teacher, it's a win win, I learn again what I forgot a lifetime ago, and she learns more she is doing this and doesn't just have book smarts, she actually learns the subject. Hey Mike- I'd enjoy partnering with ya. 6 days with out power so I'm a little behind. I'll copy both you and Maks with an outline when I get it together.
