We were discussing in chat tonight, just how many guns we buy, and then end up being safe queens. You know, they may get 500 rounds through them in their lifetime.
Obviously we don't buy a gun and intend on not shooting it, ok, not collectibles. Tactical Tupperwear sitting in the corner of the safe unfired is not a collectible... collecting dust perhaps.
So....
What safe queens do you have, and what percentage of your total gun collection/portfolio do they represent.
Personally, I use a folding workmate with my RCBS Rockchucker bolted to a piece of 2x8 which is secured to the top of the workmate. Fold it up and stand it up to store it when not in use.
But MOST IMPORTANTLY:
Remember, @Cheflife15 , you're the QUALITY CONTROL guy at your new ammo factory.
Make it right - EVERY time!
Your well-being is behind every round you make and shoot.
I have the same tumbler, it works great. It comes with a sort of slotted bowl for media separation, but I recommend a case media separator if you will be polishing a lot of brass.
How is this for cleaning brass? This really is a rabbit hole.
