Bully 749 Posted December 10, 2012 Let's hear 'em. My friend has one but I didn't want the same color. I have the reloading supplies for the caliber, but no gun to shoot it thru (this one stings a bit). I have the same model, but I need another for parts/in case I wear it out. This one's cheaper to shoot than the other one. I sold one, so I need to replace it. C
jamesbod 0 Posted December 10, 2012 you know how unreliable 1911s are. better have 1 for each hand. my glock is drying in the dishwasher, so I better have one as a backup while I wait for the 1st one to dry. my stainless is too shiny. hence I need a tactical black. mall ninjas always have identical pistols in both hands like Alice in Resident Evil size matters. I need another of the same but with a much much longer barrel to shock & awe everyone at the range if not the battlefield
Steve_G 51 Posted December 10, 2012 I can't think of one LAME reason to buy a gun. Any reason is a good reason, as far as I'm concerned. It's Monday, think I'll buy a gun.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted December 10, 2012 I always use the same reason. I don't have that particular gun yet
zoid 24 Posted December 10, 2012 I haven't done it yet, but I know I will. I thought about trading in one model that has no rail for one that does cause I think it looks more tactical. Oh boy, I used the 'T' word. Flame me immediately! What's worse is I have no intentions of every buying an accessory for a rail...

Vlad G 345 Posted December 10, 2012 I have the same model, but I need another for parts/in case I wear it out. This one's cheaper to shoot than the other one. Hang out with competition shooters and these are really not lame at all, but facts of life. When you pay $500 to $2000 to travel to match, you sure as hell bring a spare gun. When you shoot 10-20k rounds a year, the difference in ammo prices pay for the gun in a year. The obvious lame one is "Nutnfancy said it was the best". zoid 24 Posted December 10, 2012 It takes long time to get these permits honey, so we have to use all of them In the State of NJ I don't think this one is lame at all, that's a long wait! Especially if you're in a tough township that takes half a year (it happens). My township is pretty good keeping it within 30. Even still if I have the money I'm using all the permits allotted. You can always sell if you change your mind, LOL!
Clintoon Eastwood 2 Posted December 10, 2012 I better buy this now because by next year the prices are gonna go up, do you want me to buy it then?
KramD52 0 Posted December 10, 2012 I bought an new stock (Mannlicher) and needed a new gun (10/22) for it. May be lame, but true.

mustang69 505 Posted December 11, 2012 I don't think there are any "lame" reasons, but here's one I can't see myself using: I don't have it in pink yet...

M4BGRINGO 139 Posted December 11, 2012 I always use the same reason. I don't have that particular gun yet Hmmm. Already had a 686, 6" barrel, didn't have one in 8 3/8", so I bought one............ Hmmm. Already had a CX4 in .40 cal with a non-folding front grip, got another one with a folding front grip........... Hmmm. Already had a 12g Rem 1100, but didn't have a 20g, so I bought one........ I probably have others, but doesn't matter to me, I'll keep buying as long as I have somewhere to safely store them!

Sell682 1 Posted December 11, 2012 I usually use : 1. Permit about to expire 2. They could create a ban and I would never have it and I want to pass it down to my kids.
