Old Dog 19 Posted April 3, 2013 Revolvers are stupid. And yet the S&W 642 is the biggest seller out of all the Smith and Wesson models and revolvers remain very popular much longer than the 1911 has been. While it is true that a revolver requires a greater level of shooting skill due to the heavy DA trigger and lower round count, those like me who were raised on revolvers, can shoot any semi auto well as the trigger control we learned on our heavy DA triggers translates very well to the lighter and shorter triggers on semi autos. However, it does not work the other way around which is why a lot of shooters do not like revolvers. Us shootist like them just fine.

For those that know me, I've been shooting revolvers exclusively for at least a year now in competition. Huge Revolver Junkie right here mo'
BlueLineFish 615 Posted April 4, 2013 the fact that revolvers teach better trigger control is whats drawn me to them. I learned to shoot on a heavy, shitty modified glock trigger. Want to start from the basics

M4BGRINGO 139 Posted April 4, 2013 Need a wide angle lens. I think we have 10 of them around here, not sure. Been shooting them since day 1 two years ago. Have only used my S&W 610 in USPSA so far. Steve, what is that?
M4BGRINGO 139 Posted April 4, 2013 I see .38 Super on it, STI makes it? Looks soooo much like a S&W! I may need to apply for more pistol permits! Damn, have two new rifles on the way and still looking for the third. Don't be making me buy another handgun to Blue Line!
