Walt of Destiny 412 Posted June 10, 2013 I wanted a lightning in 03 but didn't jump because the new f150 body ste was coming out and I figured I'd do it then. Well, that never happened. Sweet ride. Lightning are the sh1t Yeah they really screwed some folks that were waiting for the new body style. Mine is a 2004, the new body was out and they kept making the lightnings on the old body style. They called it "heritage." The lightning people knew the next one was DOA. Do you remember the show prototype? They had that "cold shot" that used the A/C system to charge a coil in the intercooler to give you a 15 second shot of chilled air into the supercharger. It gave a 50+ horsepower boost. Like nitrous light. I had psysco guys already planning how to over boost the shot. Instead they made the raptor. 20k worth of fox shocks on a <50k truck. Nice truck, but we' far from Baja. bry@n 195 Posted June 10, 2013 I remember the 04's at the end. It was really crappy of ford to discontinue. I wouldn't mind getting an older one.

Sig226GuyNJ 128 Posted July 10, 2013 American, Dodge Caliber or late 1999 Town Car. No Jap/Chinese/North Korean cars for me, nothing against them I'm one of those "buy American, build American" type of people. Buy a Jap car and show up at work with it, I'll turn it over with one of the Cat loader's. Don't own any bikes. Rape van? That shits to extreme for me. A family member was pulled into a van once, it wasn't a rape van but it had a full office inside...it's a fun ride from what I've heard, they get you inside...take off...and drop you the **** off in the middle of nowhere. Okay, it's not a fun ride lol You do realize most foreign cars are built in the US, by American manpower right?

KevD 0 Posted July 11, 2013 ...But owned by foreign companies. If we don't watch out, thevrest of the world will own more og the US that the US does. Oops! Too late... im all for supporting our country but when "american companies" make cars that last to 100,000 miles and japs make them last till 300,000 im buying jap. regardless it was said they are made my america plants here in the usa. chevrolet makes alot of trucks in canada. and they are all public companies so technically any one in the world can be an "owner" of ford etc.

The cloths on your back, the shoes on your feet and 99% of the shit in your house is foreign made. If you think otherwise you need to take the blinders off.
