Sludog 0 Posted June 4, 2013 I just got a Browning Buckmark and I love it. I saw another for sale different finish and grips and was thinking about picking that up as well. I think it is the same model but I have not seen it in person. I will take a look at it tomorrow. Does this sound silly and a waste of a permit? Does anyone have two or more of the exact same guns? 1563621 388 Posted June 4, 2013 I had 39 garands and 27 1911s, Is there a problem?
brocglock23 4 Posted June 4, 2013 I considered buying another 23 just to have a stock Glock. Granted I'm considering selling my 23 so I can get a 22 or 35 and work that one but then have a stock one also. So IMHO. No, not silly at all in your case because they are technically 2 different guns.

alec.mc 180 Posted June 5, 2013 Yup, I own two of the exact same S&W 327 revolvers, one for iron sights and one has an optic red dot for open division
lunker 274 Posted June 5, 2013 The Browning Buckmark the fantastic 22 pistol. I would take it over the Ruger any day of the week. The only downside I see to it is the base Camper model has a plastic rear sight base that can easily strip. Take a look at the higher end UDX model. It has a metal base that won't strip and the Rosewood grips on it are beautiful.
Sludog 0 Posted June 5, 2013 And here i thought i was gonna read about already having the EXACT model handgun bought after you found the same one tucked deep somewhere in your safe forgotten about. I like that story betterLol that would be funny. I don't own enough guns to have one lost at the bottom of a safe. I did hear a story or two from Hickok 45 that he did this numerous times. He most have hundreds of guns he forgot about. What a life.

Spike 7.62 0 Posted June 5, 2013 Collectors seek different variations of the same model, and it's great to have a back up to your self defense piece (afterall it will be held as evidence during litigation), but I don't see the advantage in having multiples, especially many multiples, of the "exact" same firearm. "Gun Hoarders" would be an interesting TV show

Malice4you 627 Posted June 5, 2013 With some of my knives, I own multiple copies so I have a 'user' and some brand new and collectible. I don't have the funds to do so [yet] with firearms [nor do I have anything really collectible], but I do plan to add additional calibers and models/variations in the future. yes...you have too many guns THAT is saying something....
