I've heard almost nothing but good about CZ pistols, and I'm looking to get my mitts on one. I'm debating between the full-size and compact models. Specifically, I'm looking at the CZ 75, SP-01, and various compact models, including the P-01 and 75 compact.
Does anyone have a full-size, compact or both? I'd really like to get hands-on with these pistols before I make a decision. I'm also more than open to listening to your advice and pro/con assessment of both frames.
@EdF, go back to my post of 2/26/2021 at 4.37pm.
This is what I said.
I will apologize for saying you're arguing with yourself.
I will not apologize for you asking me to respond to what someone else said.
My views haven't really changed, since I always thought the restrictions on magazine sizes and such were ridiculous, but I was shocked that a supposedly "instant" N"I"CS check took 6 days! After I already had to wait almost 2 months for my FID!
I went there yesterday for the first time for a shotgun course. It actually was my first time ever firing a gun. Since it's indoors, only buckshot and slugs are allowed, with only slugs allowed on the two outermost lanes. iirc targets can be placed anywhere between 5 and 40 yards away. I don't have a membership but the rates are more reasonable than at Union Hill Gun Club, the other range in Monroe, plus they have monthly memberships, hourly lane rentals, and allow guests. However, they don't rent guns nor sell ammo. The employees are nice, the lobby is spacious, and the bathrooms and the whole place overall are clean.
It's less than 10 minutes from my house so I'll be back!
I sure hope so, but all these freedom-loving people fleeing NJ is not helping. We need people here to fight for liberty. I don't plan to leave this state in the foreseeable future so I will do my part.
