Fb seems to do a great job with Banning firearms....If they put in 1/2 the effort with jihadists and they did with guns they would not bother using FB as a promotional tool. They managed to clear out all the gun pages in a week. See what you can do when you really are anti something.

If you think a kydex holster has to push the gun away from you, I highly recommend you take a look at some of the more modern offerings like the RCS VG2/VG3 or Eidolon. Kydex being relatively inflexible results in less material being used so the holster is thinner than a leather one. Additionally, Kydex doesn't deform the way leather can and does. Mitigating and preventing any intrusion into the trigger guard when carrying a gun is a positive. Kydex's popularity isn't because it's cheap. A good Kydex holster will cost a fair bit though not quite as much as leather. If leather was the clearly better option, we'd see more of it in professional use but I literally cannot tell you the last time I saw a serious shooter wearing a leather holster in class.

Yup. if FB did not manage to purge the Guns that quickly then i would say its impossible to police facebook... But they proved they just don't want to. With great power comes great responsablity. Allowing Jihadists to post and keeping those posts up becomes the responsibility of FB just as if it were the National Review allowing white supremacists a platform to advertise. This is besides the fact FB purges accounts of those it disagrees with regularly. They have algorithms it does not even require a "report". Not a good comparison. You ordered hot coffee. it will be hot.

Dry wells should only be used if you can't drain the pipe out to daylight somewhere. Dry wells will work better if your soil perks well, if you have a lot of clay they will fill up with water and and not drain out causing them to back up into the pipe. If you have the option of running the pipe to let out at a lower point, go that route. Make sure you have consistent pitch the entire length, if you have a low spot crap will collect there and cause a clog in the future. As others have said, replace the ADS pipe (black corrugated) with PVC pipe. S&D (aka: sch 20) pipe should be thick enough unless you plan on driving over it. Otherwise use sch 35 pipe since it is thick enough but cheaper than sch 40 and usually has belled ends, so you won't need couplers. Sch 35 also has the OD as S&D pipe, so you can connect them together without adapters if you want to use both.

My wife and I both applied for non-resident permits. 04/20 Applications delivered to NHSP 04/29 Permits issued 05/02 Checks cashed 05/04 Permits delivered Unbelievable!!! 14 days to receive a concealed carry license and I can't get a permit to buy a handgun in less than 10 weeks! My exit timer is definitely running.

I got my hands on a copy of Crane's MLOK v KeyMod report for NAVSEA. It's a 43 page .pdf and it was emailed to me. I can't figure out how to post it, but here is the final conclusions page:

With all the censorship that FB, Twitter, and Google has done, it was bound that these companies moved to the top of karma's sh*tlist. I say "God is Great!" Regards, TokenEntry

To be honest. If you have any pitch it should work. But, good pitch it will work better.

I am not a proponent of lawsuits, restrictions and control. But If the platform is open, let it be open for all. If they start taking sides, they deserve what becomes of it. Some of these companies have capabilities thats downright scary. Social connections mapping is right out of non-existent CIA book. Not only can they derive your connections, they can also rate how "strong" these connections are. Want proof ? Google Navigation. Navigation data (speed, direction etc) from thousands, if not millions of devices mapped in realtime and be able to tell traffic slows at that town traffic light. And thats not fiction either. Imagine (or dont) what they are doing with that ever email, chat, text, snapchat, fb post you make. These companies know more about me than I know about myself, even if I am not using the services. And thats not fiction either, its a fact. On the flip side of this, I dont think its technology problem, rather social problem. It comes as after-the-fact that most of these guys were on some list. My uncles Tom, Dick and Harry are probably on some shit list. The agencies have become downright incompetent. They rather spend time showing up at a "gun owner" for buying a pistol 3 days earlier than 30 day rule, than actually going after someone involved in serious stuff.

Get there before 8am, they open their doors at 8 and there are atleast 10 people already waiting on a nice day, start shooting at 8:30. I will be there tomorrow around 7:30 myself. Something I find very useful, go to lowes and for $15 get a garden auger and put it on a cordless drill, perfect size for the 1x3 target poles they sell, drills holes in under 30 seconds.

See in addition to concealed carry it is legal in SC with or without a permit to have a loaded firearm in your glove box or console. Over head would be great because you wouldn't sweep yourself deploying in either direction, It would have to be covered though to protect from theft and to eliminate brandishing.

Ok I will skip the dry well idea because I do have clay. Trying to debate how far I want to run the pipe, I was thinking about just going 15-20' from house maybe and dumping it behind my shed. I'll dig a lot of the dirt out behind shed and fill a good area with rocks and have it drain onto that. Does that sound smart/good? Also dumb question, when you say you want output to see light I am assuming you mean the pipe output should be out from under ground at the drain spot? I'm drawing a brain fart but will check when I get home but for some reason I feel the output wouldn't be out unless I dig a good size hole behind shed, BUT I could be wrong on that thought. I'll clarify when I get home today.

Sadly i'm usually on the other side of this. But when it comes to twitter and FB especially it does seem they allowed jihadists to use them as a promotional tool. There were even test posts done with 2 exact posts except one targeted islam the other glorified jihadists FB left the jihadist ones up while deleting the other. seems to be a track record.... FB allows only what it wants people to see.

Nothing. HF often has several model numbers for the "same" item. Might be because of different suppliers or some such.

Watcha looking for? Chassis or rifle? Rifles can go anywhere from 4400 MSRP to up around 11k MSRP for a well optioned Kraken with multiple caliber kits. I went for a full scoot Kraken with 6.5 Creedmoor and 300Norma Magnum We do have a CDX30 Guardian in 6.5cm coming in for inventory. Should be about 2 months out.

I have a P2000 with the "Todd Green special" and I think it feels like a light(er than v2), but very positive trigger pull. Just something to consider. The TGS is the light trigger return spring and light firing pin block spring with a heavy main spring. Sometimes I fell like selling it for a HK45c LEM, but it carries well, and I kinda like it.

I have a couple P30's in stock in .40 S&W - one is the V1 Light LEM trigger and the other is the V3 DA/SA, if you want to stop by and check them out.

Alex, yes we can get you a chassis Current lead time looks to be 5 weeks. Got one coming in this week for a customer that ordered 5 weeks ago. Cadex was spot on with their lead time estimate. Bullzeye, as you know I love AI. I have had 5 AI rifles over the years. Now some of the advantages could be purely subjective. But what I have noticed over the years is that people either love the way an AI feels or hate it. Actually Im the only one I know that was in between where I didn't love it but didn't hate it. So those I have talked to with Chassis or complete rifle commented on how good the feel was. Now, the engineering of the barrel change system is what attracted me to the rifle to begin with. Cadex reports, as well as a few AI AXMC owners I know, is a shift in POI after a barrel change. Now if that barrel is a 338LM that could get expensive over time to re-zero. The Cadex system is supposedly no shift. Aside from that, I like that its not a pinch hold on the barrel like the AI and the DTA. Its really a torqued barrel like a normal rifle, just a cool as shit, out of the box way of going about it. Cadex keeps all the info about your rifle on file and can kick you out a prefit barrel at any time. This is true of even the non Kraken rifles.

This is interesting. I asked a simple, courteous straightforward question. Yet you failed to answer. We all know how this oppressive state works. It's not fair or equitable and it is arbitrary in the extreme. If that isn't obvious then you don't live here. I know for a fact there are a couple of NJ concealed carry permit holders that aren't LEOs, or ever were, on this very forum. Notice they won't be baited into your meaningless arguement either. Not that I would ever speak for any of them, but I believe I can tell you what you can try to do to secure the Golden Fleece. First, dedicate yourself to the 2nd amendment cause beyond demanding on a free forum that "the time is now!" A good start would probably be coughing up the 30 bucks to become a premier member to help fund your soapbox to get people to take you seriously. Second, dontate time, money and ideas to law enforcement, local, county and state to help them understand the reality of New Jersey 2nd amendment advocates and gun owners. Third, after a decade of showing up to meetings, donating 100's of thousands of dollars to ALL the organizations that support your cause in this state, testify during public comment hearing on new laws, get your ass on national Fox News programs to advocate for our causes and commit to being a booster for law enforcement when they are being targeted FOR MURDER by funding vest replacement programs for police forces and actually buying new glocks for an entire police department. After a decade of tha above type of bonafides you may cross paths with powerful politicians, LE chiefs and judges. Forth, after cultivating these relationships for another decade, you may end up discussing current 2nd amendment issues in NJ with one of the above. Amazingly one of the powerholders offers to sponsor your application and they use their influence to walk the application through the draconian process and that influence gets you the card... Only to be critized by some that have no stake, commitment or impetus to do anything but cast aspersions from a keyboard on a forum they they don't have the wherewithal to become a paying member of. I don't know you, but I know several NJ CCW permit holders, their stories are dramatized above. It's similar to PBA cards. I venture to say that many on here have a wallet full. Some of us have family member badges that get you out of almost any issue roadside. What's the difference? These "get out of jail free" cards are a uniquely NY/NJ thing. So there you have it. It's who you know. If that comes as a surprise to you, no amount of explaination will get through the wall you have built. The key is what you have to do to get to know those you need to know. I would humbly suggest becoming a supporting member of all the NJ based pro-2a organization. Give Alexander Roubian a call at NJ2AS. Or Scott Bach at ANJRPC. They have vastly different approaches, which goes to show that there is room in our tent for everyone. So go ahead, get involved, cough up some tangible commitment to the cause and stop pissing in the tent and start pointing your piss at those that aren't standing up for your cause and hate your freedoms.

Or more to the point, doesn't. A german shepherd can be way more dangerous than a pit. Bruno weighs 130# and he will run your ass down. But he listens. More importantly I trust him and he trusts me to tell him what to do. A dog, any dog is most dangerous when he feels he has to be in charge. As long as he knows who is the alpha, you're good. My dog doesn't cross a threshold before me. It's subtle, but there is no doubt as to his place. So most of the rep that pits get is due to lack of care and it's the owner that should be punished.

You're late to this discussion. The reason PK90 was referencing the NJSP FIU phone number is that back about 6 or 7 years ago someone asked the FIU if the "M1 Carbine" clones are legal if they don't say "M1 Carbine" on them. The answer the FIU gave was "yes", presumably based on the same standards that are used for "Avtomat Kalashnikov type". Well, Christie's AG at the time, Paula Dow, caught wind of this and 8 days or so later unilaterally declared all versions of the M1 Carbine illegal. So, unless you plan to sue the state for this inconsistent interpretation of the same law (and hopefully win), you're not going to be buying an M1 Carbine clone in NJ.
  49. 1 point
I don't know. To me that sounds like saying an AR is better than a .38. You want the M1 because it is cool.
