Charter Arms revolvers don't spin, they just lock up after the first shot. Ask me how I know. Or ask @djg0770

They work. They are the intro guns into the AK market. And they are better than the C39V2s.

I will say I defer to Pizza Bob on All Things revolver but I will say that I have a m85 and it has been outstanding. I do think a revolver chambered in these three calibers is pretty cool however

Well you could go nuts too. The real way for long term storage involves temperatures and humidity. Like mink coats and cigars.

Come'on now, Handyman! Look at my picture! Same leather cat suit since the 60's - doesn't it look fabulous? As good as the day it was made. Who has more credibility here... me or @fishnut?

http://absorbine.com/products/leather-care/leather-therapy-restorer-conditioner/ This is the best stuff out there. The Smithsonian uses it on all of their leather. Not just the restore but the entire product line. I know the person who invented it whom is also a pro 2a guy from hunterdon county

Not going to be much left to neuter on new inbound ones if the state has its way. All this banning is just too easy for the state when they get to keep eroding the definition of a made up term.

Island was a dump and still is a dump. The pits are grass! Wtf lol. I raced there once maybe in 2002 when my car was trapping 112mph. Even then the shut down area was so small I had to slam the brakes. Now trapping 133 with skinnies and small front brakes. No thank you! I drove past it last year because the Costa class was at a range right behind it. Yeah, it's still a dump. Ill go yo Atco as usual.

Why would you do it without a tool? The beauty is that you can load the clips during downtime so your range sessions are spent shooting, not individually loading and unloading the cylinder. If you are really opposed to using tools to charge and empty your clips, choose a gun for which RIMZ polymer clips are available. Adios, Pizza Bob<------Thinks Ray Ray's desire to load and unload each chamber individually is compensating for something.

There is that slim chance that Sweeney hates Murphy enough to block anything Murphy wants, but it is unlikely. The courts are really the only hope. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Colt originally patented the clockwise rotation, which is why people felt it was a better design. If you rotate clockwise, the force on the cylinder in a normal opening design (swings out to the left), pushes the cylinder into the frame. If you stopped movement of the cylinder, it would cause the crane to push against the frame. Likewise, a counterclockwise rotation... if you stopped the cylinder from spinning, it would open the cylinder by forcing the crane to the left. S&W’s answer to that was having the ejector rod lock up at the barrel end. From a design standpoint, clockwise rotation is better... but with modern designs that have been working for YEARS, both work. If you want to look into it, C&Rsenal on YouTube is doing videos on WWI small arms. They did an episode on a Spanish K-frame copy, which I believe went into that... if not that, one of the Colt episodes that followed it.

This law has multiple grounds to which to file lawsuits. One is lack of compensation. California Firearms Owners successfully got a Federal Injunction against the new 10 round magazine capacity law. Previously magazines over 10 rounds were grandfathered. New law takes away grandfathering. Common Use Grounds is another regarding AR-15 Rifles and the defacto ban. The law makes all Military Surplus Semi Autos with detachable magazines illegal except for the German G/K43. This should allow challenges on common use grounds. M1 Carbine is one of the most common rifles owned and it helped save the Free World and Defeat Imperial Japan. They were sold direct by the CMP, a government entity, yet they are illegal in NJ. Rifles such as the Swedish AG42B are used in competition shooting. That would certainly fall under common use. Other Collectible Semi Auto Milsurps with Detachable Magazines would have to be sold, destroyed, turned in, or have irreversible harm done to them by the removal of the bayonet mount which would greatly negatively affect value. How would the state compensate owners when condition is a huge factor? Lawsuits must be filed. If the laws are too costly to the state they will be forced to back down. Gun laws have nothing to do with safety. They are designed to slowly erode gun ownership until all guns are illegal to own.

Jeebus, we bitch about a group that doesn't do anything or enough and then we bitch about a group that does something but not they way we like.....holy shit, as long as someone is out there doing work on behalf of our 2A interests I'm happy AND thankful. Don't think these groups are immune from politics, it comes in all shapes and sizes, even the state legislators can eat their own. Let them do their own thing, mix it up at least it's an attack from different fronts. All hands on deck!

I'll say it again: lawsuits, lawsuits, lawsuits... with appeals all the way to SCOTUS. At this point, everything else (marching, appealing to reason, etc.) is rendered pretty much meaningless. And when 1 or more 2A organizations file strategic, well thought out cases - with the i's dotted and t's crossed (as best as we non-lawyers can assess anyway) - it will be incumbent on the rest of us to recognize that lawsuits are long, labor-intensive things that COST a bloody fortune. So, as long as they step out smartly on the legal front (and I believe they will - this is a much different situation now as I'm sure these organizations realize), it will be incumbent on us to uncomplainingly, unflinchingly start making regular donations. Because this won't be a cheap process... but it will be a necessary one.

disagree you get 10k patriots in trenton with firearms and they will notice. You get people to join from all over and grow that civil disobedience, they will notice. Our rights are not negotiable, we've done too much of that enough is enough...can you imagine if some group starting popping off anti 2a elected officials? See how fast they table things then (not saying I want that to happen that way)
  41. 1 point
I am really loathe to respond to your bait, because it just gives you undeserved attention. However, there are several points that need to be addressed. First are your disparaging remarks about "God given rights". The bill of rights does not grant you those rights, it simply enumerates them. For those that are religious, that would be interpreted as "God given". For those of us that are not religious they would be natural rights. The 2A is actually the right of self-preservation. Driving a car or flying a drone are not rights. A more accurate analogy would be, do you want the government to vet you before it allows you to practice the religion of your choice? In your opening paragraph you have already given yourself away when you allude to the "other side's" argument as possibly having more "common sense" - a buzz-word used by the anti-2A faction for years. They have no common sense. An element of common sense requires logic - the arguments they make to oppress our right are based on emotion, not logic. There is no compromise when it comes to the 2A. The antis have been selling the "compromise" paradigm for years. Their definition of compromise is that we give up something and get nothing in return - I don't think that is how Webster defines compromise. If you truly believe what you wrote, you are part of the problem, not part of the solution. I'm done here - I will give you no more recognition and I hope that my fellow board members feel and act likewise. Be gone troll. Adios, Pizza Bob

It’s something that has been asked for. You can’t just slap a G19 slide on a G17 frame and have it work. People have been trying to get it to work for quite some time. And Hey, on the bright side, I bet it doesn’t fire if you drop it.
