This is a lot of back and forth about nothing. The diagram above explains everything. I have an "other" I built on my own. I have posted all the exact parts. If you need any more information PM me and I'll go back and look up what I posted if you're too lazy.

It will never get to his desk. Not even if we had the house too. And just say it did, States such as NJ, NY, etc, will cry States rights, bla, bla, bla, something, something, and tie it up in courts for years. You are never going to be able to carry in NJ, accept that fact.

There are no primers available unless you want 209, 50BMG or percussion primers!

My brother in law just got his permit and was searching for a pistol and specifically a Glock 19 (probably a gen 5). We got a lead on a used but near new condition Gen 4 with new night sights and the guy wanted $500. He mentioned this to his mom, who is in her mid 70s and she said “$500 for a used gun? That is ridiculous!!” Then she said, according to my bother in law, “I have a gun in my closet in my bedroom. I bought it a long time ago. You can have it...” Here it is...unfired!

I bought one of these along with a bunch of accessories and it just sits and collects dust. I will stick with my Dillon presses. The Hornady LNL I have required too much efforts to keep it running smoothly. There was always something out of adjustment. It is sturdy and well built but doesn't work for me. I like simple. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. I may set it back up now that I have a proper dedicated reloading room.

Retail is $650 from Dillon, though they have it on backorder. I don’t think you’ll ever find it discounted, and its a new enough model that you won’t find many used The model 650 that preceded it is also very capable, and occasionally you’ll find a used one. As you move to faster Dillon presses, the caliber conversion hardware costs more and it takes longer to to change over to a new caliber. That may or may not be a consideration, depending on how you plan to use it.

Hi, Can you link or provide the boilerplate forms mentioned on the podcast today for local PD delay inquires? They would greatly help many folks who suffer delays. I did not see them on the GFH/ permit page.

Primers are a really tough purchase right now. For the rest of your reloading needs, Shyda's Outdoor Center in Lebanon PA (20 minutes east of Hersheypark) is a slice of reloading heaven.

I’m all for the push for it. If only to force the anti-gun crowd to play defense for once

You must get a nice refund check. Mine might cover the ammo for a range trip.

I don't know anything about Glocks. But $500 for a good condition used newer Glock doesn't sound bad. Especially in these crazy times. Of course free is even better!

It all comes down to - How short do you want it and do you want to pin a muzzle device? Everything else is standard AR15. Upper/lower/bcg/parts/etc. The only other mandatory pieces are - barrel length (with or without pinned muzzle device - and it doesn't have to be a brake)/buffer length/VFG/Pistol Brace.

We are not supposed to have discussions in the FOR SAEL FORUM - however quick note. The C7/C8 is a Canadian rifle manufactured by Colt Canada (formerly Diemaco prior to 2005) The feature set of the C7 is a Colt A1 upper - not slick sided - has the brass deflector - most use the grenade launch profile barrel, as opposed to the pencil 1/12 barrels of the original A1's - as well as some other minor changes. Great Website - http://retroblackrifle.com/ http://bpullignwolnet.dotster.com/retroblackrifle/ModGde/4nGde/C7.html http://bpullignwolnet.dotster.com/retroblackrifle/ModGde/4nGde/C8.html

Im not a Gen expert but the checkering on the frontstrap and backstrap make it a Gen 2 IIRC.

The agency I worked for switched to Glock about 1998. They came in the Tupperware.

There are indeed gun collectors that focus on collecting Glocks. Which is a little like a car collector focussing on collecting Corollas, but it's a thing. The Glock Talk board has a forum specific to collecting Glocks. You may find some good info there. GlockTalk forum
