crazyboy 13 Posted November 19, 2009 Nice setup CB. Looks like you got all the basics covered. Who makes the barrel mount? Thanks, the basics are covered I just need to get her her own light, debating on another tlr or a g2, aimpoint or eotech optics possibly, and maybe a small bipod and then it'll be good. Its a Leapers UTG TriRail Barrel Mount. It's cheap so I'm not sure how amazing its going to hold up, but the reviews seemed good.
crazyboy 13 Posted November 19, 2009 Soooweeet Crazyboy...gotta get me one of those slings! Thanks, take a look into the 3 point slings as well before you go for the single point!
Caine 147 Posted November 19, 2009 3 point slings are so '90s I run TLR-1s on my ARs and have been happy with them so far. Also have a G2, but not mounted to anything. I like both, but, I'm running the lights on my ARs at the 12o'clock position forward of the front sight, and TLR works better for that. Now you just need to stock up on Arms-n-Ammo pmags

jermz1987 243 Posted February 27, 2010 Very Nice choice David. I know your first experience with BA was a bad one, but I hope it doesn't stop you from shooting there. As you probably already know, a lot of us meet every Tuesday night there. You should come. Everyone always has a good time, And if your interested in a certain gun. Just ask. Odds are that someone will have it and let you throw a couple down range. I have a CZ75b, SW66-3, Springfield model 15, and a Springfield model 67f 12g, And your more then welcome to try them out. Celraysoda 7 Posted February 27, 2010 Here is what I currently have. Wish I have a lot of land. Hard to decide what goes to the range and what stays home. I like my wood.

Celraysoda 7 Posted February 27, 2010 Nice collection - would love to see more pics of the Garand You got it. Hasn't been shot in a while due to the shortage of the CMP ammo. BH had 20 rd boxes for $11. Those days are long gone.

Celraysoda 7 Posted February 27, 2010 Absolutely beautiful gun! Thank you Thanks! I got it from Tony, the Garand Guy in Rahway. Have not had one problem with it and shot it regularly for about 8 months. He stands behind his Garands 110%.
Caine 147 Posted February 27, 2010 I've seen his name come up a few times. Making a mental note for when I'm ready for a Garand

Celraysoda 7 Posted February 27, 2010 I have heard mixed reviews but I think the best bet is to make an appointment and visit him in person. You will probably walk out with an M1. http://www.garandguy.com/

You will probably walk out with an M1. http://www.garandguy.com/ Tony is a great guy to deal with. I have visited him twice and I had a great experience both times. I would definitely recommend him for parts, work, or rifles. Nice collection BTW!
