axeman_g 128 Posted January 20, 2012 my feelings were more physical then emotional... emotionally I am just sad about it. That gun is awful... just awful.
Malsua 1,422 Posted January 20, 2012 I think most people are objecting to the tacticool stock shaped like a wooden one.
Shug 4 Posted January 20, 2012 They must be smoking something over there at Mossberg.
blksheep 466 Posted January 20, 2012 Maybe it wouldnt be all that bad with out the stock. That sets it over the edge, and I dont know if you need rails on a lever gun? But like anything a few people will buy them and then they go away then tons are people are paying alot more then they are worth just to have them. axeman_g 128 Posted January 20, 2012 no... it is the overall affect. Flash hider, horrible stock, tri rail, black tacticoat... ugh. Just awful. And in 30-30?? I love that round for a woods gun... I am suprised they did not try to put it out in .357 or some other pistol caliber where you could have the matching pair. Just awful... no lines, no symetry... it is the by product of a stolen moment between an AR15 and a Scout rifle.

MedicYeti 96 Posted January 20, 2012 I checked the website linked, I was worried the link was a fake. I agree with the cat on page 1 "I threw up in my mouth a little bit".
Nikos 31 Posted January 20, 2012 Nothing wrong with this rifle if you're the type of person that likes a huge wing, coffee can exhaust, and a ton of stickers on your car. Oh, did I just stereotype?

Shawnmoore81 623 Posted January 20, 2012 I wouldn't buy it...... Unless it was cheap
Melgamatic 66 Posted January 20, 2012 I think it's pretty cool. I have quite a few lever action rifles, but none by Mossberg and none in 30-30. It's probably very light, so I'm curious about the recoil. Davidson's doesn't list it in the Gallery of Guns yet, but most of those models are around $550 MSRP and $380 - $420 in the Gun Genie. I'll buy one and let you guys know how it shoots. I wonder if Paul will order one for me, or if it's too bling for him? -Dave
Tactical Turtle 11 Posted January 20, 2012 I think I would buy it, looks fun and easy to shoot. That being said i would still buy a .35 cal marlin lever action, lol
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted January 20, 2012 Tactical levergun done right: Yes. I would buy that. what is it?
robot_hell 72 Posted January 20, 2012 Yes. I would buy that. what is it? Marlin 336 in SS with XS lever rail
Recon Racoon 49 Posted January 20, 2012 If it didn't have the fugly stock on it, I would like it. But thats the deal breaker for me. And the flash suppressor. But at least theres a model with just a plain barrel.
NicePants 58 Posted January 20, 2012 Tactical levergun done right: Now THAT I wouldn't mind owning.
JSF01 13 Posted January 21, 2012 I actually kind of like it. I just kind of wished they had taken the concept a little further. I'd like to see a lever action with as many features of a so called”assault weapon" as humanly possible just to piss off anti gun people out there. Ray Ray 3,566 Posted January 21, 2012 Doesn't Ray Ray have one of these? It's not available yet, I'm on the list.
bulpup 98 Posted January 21, 2012 It's not available yet, I'm on the list. First one ordered with a bayonet lug?
Malice4you 627 Posted January 21, 2012 I've been really wanting a lever action, but this will not be it. I feel sorry for the gun...what did it do to deserve that harsh treatment? That Marlin 336 SS posted above is beautiful. However, I'm thinking I want one in either .22 (I do love my .22s) or .357/.38 (for something different)...as well as traditional-looking. The hunt continues for something that really gets my interest...

tt-33 8 Posted January 22, 2012 the design team needs to be informed that just becouse you can bolt it together doesnt mean you should.the runner up in butt ugly was the chain saw model
vladtepes 1,060 Posted January 22, 2012 Tactical levergun done right: nice... that is JUST enough...
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted January 22, 2012 nice... that is JUST enough... I looked into it and there is a decent amount of work in that gun. It was painted to give that nice Matt brushed look, with the black furniture.
302w 83 Posted January 22, 2012 Would I buy one? no. I wouldn't mind owning one, however. Not in .30-30, since the only acceptable .30-30 one should own is his grandpappys pre '63 Winchester Model '94. I would love to own one of those in 9mm just to get strange looks at the range. Wouldn't spend money on one though. Then again I also want to buy cheapo arrows and a quiver, make speedloaders out of the arrows, and go to the range with my Henry and a quiver full of arrows because it is practical and I would confuse the crap out of everyone else. I also would love to buy two 'make your own' black powder pistol kits, make one into a respectable and clean firearm and the second paint flat dark earth and add an offensive amount of rails and whatnot to it just to be strange. I wouldn't bubba up an SKS or Nagant, however.
dave545 15 Posted January 22, 2012 i meen not the most awesome gun but kinda cool concept
Huskyjerkjohn 8 Posted January 22, 2012 Wow, I didn't know you could screw aesthetics into the wall that far. That is one ugly firearm. Imagine yourself at the range with this little guy...you will surely turn some heads (and probably stomachs). Ugh!
