NJdiverTony 27 Posted February 18, 2012 Any recommendations on where to find NJ legal AR mags for a good price? What kind of mags do you all recommend? I keep seeing people talk about p-mags, but don't know anything about them... I'm a complete noob to AR's.

blksheep 466 Posted February 18, 2012 I can say that I have 4 mags from PK90 that I have had for about 7 or 8 years now and have about 500 rounds through each of them and they are top quality mags with anti-tilt followers that have run beautifully. You can buy those with confidence. +1 for Paul.
EchoMirage 137 Posted February 19, 2012 midwest pins them so they can be loaded full on a closed bolt. some places, like rifegear.com, dont pin them with enough play to load on a closed bolt. all pinned mags are not the same.
Dan 177 Posted February 19, 2012 Got my 15/20 pmags from midwestpx. They work great. $22 and some colors to choose from. http://midwestpx.com/index.php?cPath=
Missionmtman 2 Posted February 19, 2012 Mtnarmory.com has great prices. They are having web site problems so you need to call to place your order.
alowerlevel 77 Posted February 19, 2012 midwest pins them so they can be loaded full on a closed bolt. some places, like rifegear.com, dont pin them with enough play to load on a closed bolt. all pinned mags are not the same. I have 2 of the "stubby" Midwest PX mags and neither one will seat on a closed bolt with 15rds in them. My freind ordered 2 15/20's from rifle gear and 1 mag only held 12rds and the other mag only held 14rds, he had to send them back and they finally sent him 2 good ones. Krdshrk 3,878 Posted February 19, 2012 I have 4x C-Products 15/30's - Good mags - not too tight. Hard to source right now I also have 5x of PK90's cut down 15 rounders. Good mags but made very tight. I also have 4x 15/20 PMags from Midwest PX - Good mags as well.
MidwestPX 172 Posted February 19, 2012 Thanks for the recommendations, guys. Even if you ultimately don't order from me, please look to your board sponsoring vendors first for all your firearms needs!
