Meanwhile in New Hampshire...

Recommended Posts

sent another e-mail today..

Sounds like they don't know what to do with the applications that do not have an accompanying ccw from any state

Yours and mine should have been pretty much the same timing

Only difference is that I sent my Florida ccw along with the application

I also own 51 acres of land in NH -- not sure if that had anything to do with the speed mine was processed

Yep, Which you don't have PA with FL or Utah

I literally never go to PA, drive through on my way to Ohio, not sure if it's worth me getting.

for you guys sending away for Florida non res CCW. They say up to 90 days. Average is now 55 days.

I sent mine in on 6-14 and just checked the website today!

Applicant Name: Me

Your license was issued on 07/12/2016. Please allow approximately 7-10 business days for your license to be printed and mailed. If you do not receive your license within that timeframe, please contact us via live chat or call our Public Inquiry Section at (850)245-5691 for additional information.

YAY! That was quick. Should be about a week before I get it. It took them less than a month. NH here I come! :music:

I have the same intention, go for my Florida and then New Hampshire. What course did you take to submit as proof of completion for the Florida application?

We are working on the application received on the 27th. We just haven’t gotten to yours yet. We are doing the background checks and then we do the check endorsements on the ones that pas the background checks. You are still looking at about a 2 week period of processing.

even though Saturday they told me they were working on mine now..

just trying to see if they are questions not sending another CCW in so i can update you guys... im not really in a rush at all..

you should stop bothering them.

just let it run its course.

I agree with this. It was suggested to me by "people in the know" when I was bothering my pd over my permits that it could cause red flags. Someone so eager to own or carry a gun might need it for something urgently...

Paperwork wouldn't stop those with no respect for the law.

i am in philly 3-4 times a week so just trying to get things moving...

as far as red flags i have never got a speeding ticket and normally get my p2p back in under 2 weeks...

I have a feeling that the delay in this case is because they are unsure if the NJ FID card will satisfy their any state's CCW requirement.

If they do accept it, PA will drop reciprocity with NH really fast!

If they don't accept it, they could be in violation of their State Supreme Court order.

I think PA would freak out if all NJ FID cardholders suddenly became eligible to carry in PA due to a loophole in New Hampshire! FID cards are common in the PRNJ Though not as many take the time,

effort and expense to get a non resident CCW. Those of us in Jersey with ANY CCW are in an extremely small minority! Perhaps small enough so as not to be a catalyst for a PA reciprocity change.

I am certain that their legal people are going to make a decision one way or another.

My Florida CCW should be in the mail, on it's way to me by tomorrow. When I get it in my hands, I will copy it and send

for my NH CCW the same day. It's all wait and see for now!

I have a feeling that the delay in this case is because they are unsure how to handle the NJ FID card satisfying the state CCW requirement.

As someone who currently only hold a nj fid and no ccw permits, I am waiting to see how this plays out so I know if I will be approved too or need to get a FL permit first
