Dump them, then block the number. NO legitimate staffing firm will EVER charge you a fee merely to interview a candidate. It's beyond ridiculous! And their escalating aggressive phone tactics reveal their sleaze as well. FYI, a temp agency will either charge you a per hour rate for the person (and then pay that person some lower amount as their own W-2 employee)... or, agencies doing permanent placements will sign an agreement with you in advance to get a certain percent of the selected candidate's annual salary (20-30% is typical for white collar jobs)... and that's typically due after the person's been successfully on board for 60 or 90 days. These people calling you are SHYSTERS! (20+ years as a recruiter btw - corporate, agency & as a contractor - so my advice on this matter is solid).

Steel armor that is designed to be armor is fine. Don't buy re-purposed targets. Weight is a concern, but safety is the primary concern. AR500 flat sucks for armor. There are better choices out there at similar price points. Hesco plates - $129 http://www.officerstore.com/mobile/store/product.aspx/productId/31390/Hesco-Level-IV-10-x-12-Stand-Alone-Armor-Plate-Single-Curve-NIJ-06/ Not steel and good quality.

That's been your lucky experience. Myself and another member here were aggressively approached about our rifles by the Fudds at a range at which point we fully expected to have SWAT roll up on us as threats of calling the police were made. We ended up having to head it off at the pass by involving range officials. There are MANY people that share the sentiments of tagonagy. I have personally conversed with many in the shooting community with these concerns. Cases in this state of moms being arrested over paintball guns because, you know, possession of a "pistol" without a permit, don't exactly leave confidence for all police interactions. So perhaps your sphere of experience, despite its duration, is not as encompassing as you might think.

And queue the NJ current team ......and go....... wait ....go....... nope try again.....AND........ crickets. Let me add one thing - I respect that telegraphing of plans is not wise at all - however at the darkest of times some positive 'propoganda' can go a very looooooooooonnnnggggg way - Just sayin - @Smokin .50 at least had the sense to put out some sort of brief....that Rosie - a smart fella. We all have to also understand one thing - everythin we type here is open to view - for the most part - reminds me of a poster One last thing - my money is with the the CNJFO - in lieu of bonds donate to them - it is sill America we may be partially down in NJ but we r far from out !

lolol. good point. i'm a dumbass sometimes, lolol ha! i've never interpreted caps as shouting. quick funny though.....good friend of mine owns a corset shop on south street. she's in her 40's. she accidentally sent out a mass email to all her employees in caps lock.......then the phone calls started. they all thought she was shouting at them, when all she did was forget to kill caps lock.....and didn't think anything of it.

Online stores do care about state law. Try and order pistol ammo online and they'll ask for your FPID. If it gets to onerous they'll just not ship here but they won't, by and large, ignore state law.

Well..... I am quite excited. I guy emailed me last year that he was writing a book about muscle cars and was interested in photos of my GTO. So I emailed him quite a few photos, and then pretty much forgot about it, thinking it was either a joke, or I didnt make the cut. He emailed me tonight, and said my car made the book. So I ran out to Barnes and Noble and bought it..... I am pretty stoked... https://www.amazon.com/Detroit-Muscle-Factory-Lightweights-Purpose-Built/dp/161325301X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1510885602&sr=8-1&keywords=detroit+muscle

Even with "parallax free" optics such as red dots (nothing is truly parallax free) you will get a shift of zero with different body positions. Remember, a zero is a living thing. You can spend all day at the range chasing a zero and never get it. Consistency and centered are key.

Id rather not say publically since it was the act of individuals and not the range its self. PM me privately if you would like to know.

typical nj bs......it can literally be the same exact rifle, 'cept that one says "m14" while the other says "m1a" and the m14 is illegal? somehow we need to get these illegal(and virtually every single one in nj) firearms laws taken off the books.

Imo- it destroys that business that engags in at least rentals. I believe the goal is to put ranges and shops out of biz It also destroys the next generation - if you cannot take them shooting and 'transfer' a gun to them to use at said range - how are they exposed to it, to actually understand and enjoy it? Respect it? You don't This is and always has been a genrational war

Didn’t think it was as cool to handle as it was when I picked it up. Got to start setting it up, but what I really want to see is if CCR can plate it. Hopefully it is small enough.

Ed Craft according to the PAFOA thread. He wasn't such a bad guy there. Sounds like he had a terrible end of life. Constantly falling. I did not care for Mipa here but I wouldn't have wished bad upon him. Hopefully he is resting peacefully and out of pain.

True there are very few vendors that ship to NY since the unSAFE act banned ammo sales without a background check. This even though the background check part of the law has been declared unworkable.

When can we expect a joint statement? It would be very helpful to the movement if we have something from the collective that encourages the 2A community. I think this is extremely important as morale is at an all time low and it will demonstrate that this is a truly organized push back..

They will use pretty much anything with sugar, or is sugar, to make into liquor. It's the sugar (fructose, sucrose etc) that turns into alcohol. Using different ingredients can often be just due to economics. Whatever is the cheapest bulk sugar can be used unless they are shooting for something very specific. The flavor of the fruit doesn't exactly carry over the way you think it would.

nj is a small enough state that none of us is reasonably too far to go to pa to buy our stuff. why would one buy ammo here for extortion prices when one could just cross one of the bridges to free America and get it at normal prices?

NRA, ANJRPC, NJ2AS and all others are jokes of an organization. They had almost 30 years to accomplish something, anything, and got nothing done at all. Not even one small victory. Why would I toss my away now on them? I may as well burn my cash if I want to waste it. The cynical part of me thinks that businesses in NJ may even be happy about this. No more undercutting from those pesky bulk websites. Get ready for $1/round .223 for those fish man AR-15s (that you'll have to pay them $150 to neuter for you)

My money is going to whomever presents the best plan to sue and win, and initiates the plan. Then, and only then, will they get my money. I have about 20 years of NRA dues not paid that I'd be willing donate but they have to actually do it, not just talk about doing it. Show me what ya got and I'll show you the money.

The only change I made to mine was to swap out the extractor for a non-MIM one. I have made several other modifications to other guns. I end up getting most of my parts from Brownells.

You'd have to get really lucky to find a Harbor freight engine that's going to be the same spec as the OEM motor. If you're going to repower it, best bet would be to get a model and spec number off of the engine and buy one from Equipitron or Jack's Small Engines. A Kohler or Kawasaki 22HP engine with electric start is probably going to run around $1800. Could still be worth doing if the hydros are good, but I would check them first. See if everything in the hydro system seems to work properly without excessive noise and stick a magnet down to the bottom of the hydro tank and see if any metal shavings come out on the magnet. Then again, if it's old enough it could be a belt drive 60". I remember when hydro walk behinds didn't exist.

Actually, Purple Loc-Tite is better suited for most firearms applications.
