AnthonyC83 0 Posted August 29, 2013 Used my AR and my sub2k last night at the 50yard range. First time using the 50 yard for me. This place is great. Can't wait once work starts slowing down for me so I can start taking classes
ChrisJM981 924 Posted September 1, 2013 Anthony, Any plans for more intro to prepping classes? That one for Sept 14th sold out quick!

olderguy 0 Posted September 1, 2013 It was great to see it so crowded today, and that there were a lot of women shooting. I need to find some of the slower times to go. My wife cannot handle too well the concussion from the larger guns firing in the 25 yard range. Wasn't Anthony talking about a "Ladies Night" awhile back? It could be set up for women only to shoot, but accompanied by a significant other to help and instruct; but not fire. Maybe limited to smaller calibers(ie; 9mm maximum)

Yes we have 19 ports and the queue system along with members receiving priority status the line moves pretty fast. Ant

gunforhire 826 Posted September 2, 2013 Looks like the looming bottleneck is the parking space on weekends. Not sure if you can do much if anything about that ... We are addressing that with signs on Sat and Sunday directing overflow parking to Wilson Autobody/ Screens/ and Creter Vault which is about 30 more spots. Fred2 367 Posted September 2, 2013 Some women like large caliber guns. The sIze doesn't matter. The important part is how many rounds.
3card 0 Posted September 3, 2013 My wife and I shot there for the first time on Sunday. Arrive about 10:30 or so no wait time in rifle area. Great experience, great customer service. Looking forwarded to shooting there again. I'll bring the handguns next time

Michael2013 56 Posted September 4, 2013 I'm pretty sure he was refering to transport laws, not safety considetations. Exactly But when I cross the street to G&S Hunters in Paterson, the opposite is true...
bhunted 887 Posted September 4, 2013 There is no crossing streets. The places Anthony refers to for parking are behind the building. Just may need a valet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2 Pro
Vini 0 Posted September 4, 2013 Is it possible to rent more than one handgun in one hour? I want to bring my pistol, rent Sig 226, Sig 229, Glock 19 and shoot them side by side.
gunforhire 826 Posted September 4, 2013 Is it possible to rent more than one handgun in one hour? I want to bring my pistol, rent Sig 226, Sig 229, Glock 19 and shoot them side by side. You can rent all three in an hour but insurance rules dictate one firearm at a time. When you are ready we will hook you up, I will have and rso escort you and "control" the guns while you experiment.

bhunted 887 Posted September 4, 2013 What's the price for shooting an ar variant at the 50 yard port for an hour? Gun is not an issue... But go to the gunforhire website for all pricing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2 Pro

gunforhire 826 Posted September 5, 2013 Anthony, selfish question: Do you plan on getting a XDS in Cal .45 for the collection of rental guns? Not selfish at all. Yes it is on the list, below is what we just ordered to add to the 105 we have already: SIG MOSQUITO 22LR DK E CPA RHINO 40DS 4" 6RD + CIA M91/30 NAGANT

Got some useful tips from one of the range officers, appreciate that. Have to admit: looks like both Glock and Sig are capable of better accuracy than my CZ-82 Glock is OK, but Sig P226 feels like it belongs in my hand. Now I'm looking for Sig P226 Classic 22lr with 9mm XChange kit.
