ogfarmer 138 Posted March 6, 2014 Lol... I wonder if NJ.com will stop using polls with these stories. Every time they run a gun story with a poll they end up showing how many pro-gun people there are out there.... And then the anti say the polls reflect the opposite, because they cant control the demographic who they poll on these

Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted March 7, 2014 94% NO, too bad the politician don't care what their subjects think. Well, they do when the poll numbers favor their agenda. Sweeney claims that "the overwhelming majority of New Jerseyans" favor stricter gun laws. Someone needs to show him the results of polls like this. deerpark 83 Posted March 10, 2014 On the 10 round limit. I'm sure you'd love to vote. h ttp://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2014/03/poll_should_nj_pass_gun_bill_reducing_size_of_ammunition_magazines_from_15_to_10_rounds.html You should break the link. Otherwise they'll see that some (possibly a lot) of the traffic is coming from here and disregard the results. Well, they'll disregard the results anyway but even more so. wooly bugger 1 Posted March 10, 2014 I really think these polls are a cynical attempt to drive traffic. 10k hits just helps them sell advertising. As someone said, they'll bury the results as soon as they figure the additional hits are no longer worth the embarrassment to them of showing just how many people oppose this bill. JohnnyB 4,331 Posted March 16, 2014 If all of the common sense the committee heard by those who testified did nothing to change anyone's vote. What good is a stupid poll they will most likely never see??? That is a South Jersey website. Try the same poll in North Jersey, The numbers may reverse. Perhaps the south should become a state of it's own and New York can take North Jersey! Then we would have a chance to be a free state.
