Krdshrk 3,877 Posted January 21, 2016 It's not official until he says "KABOOM" The purple area has the greatest chance for Kaboom but I have not issued a Kaboom yet. I will do so if we still look like this on Friday before the storm begins.
Malsua 1,422 Posted January 21, 2016 North of 80, expect less than 6 inches, Sussex county is going to end up with a trace to 2 inches the way this storm is projected to shift south and east. Central and southern Jersey are going to get a bunch of snow.

You must be from out of state. It's an old NJ tradition that goes back to the Indians. During blizzards we make french toast and sprinkle it with dirty snow. My kids grew up on that stuff. Edit: Sorry I didn't see Eddy's post.

Snowfall is a known risk factor for colono-fecal augmentation syndrome. What would normally be an average production level requires three-fold wiping and flushing (1). (1) U. Poopalot, I. Schitz, B. CMJeepster 2,778 Posted January 21, 2016 Good for old people on fixed incomes and illegal aliens, bad for commercial snow removal. Some town did fine some boys for going door-to-door offering to shovel in exchange for money. I don't have a link, but it's out there I'm sure.

I remember that, there was a thread here last year about it. I have no problem with neighborhood kids making a few bucks, I fully support it.

Malsua 1,422 Posted January 22, 2016 EPAWA posted their weather maps and they are somewhat similar to the one above but they are hedging because the NAM is showing a push to the north and west meaning that Sussex county and north east PA might get into the big numbers. That said, they always over estimate the snow so I'm expecting 2-4 inches on Sat and anything more than that is a bonus. Every big storm in the past few years skipped Sussex, so I don't know why this one is going to be any different.
