I agree. All of mine are 20rd with the exception of a few 15rd and one 5rd from when I was a subject of NJ. The 20rd mags just look right.

Got the new grips, also test fired it but only a couple mags. Functioned flawlessly.

Always, thought the M1A could do great work with just a reddot the more i thought about it from watching Blackhawk Down. You can research but Shughart used an M14 with Aimpoint red dot for aerial sniping... Always wanted to get mine 'scoped' up and never did, till a mount came up - thsnks @Dave Archibald.... Well all mounted up, blue loctite, bore sight zero with laser to 50 yards.... After this weekends two wheel trip to VT.. will get to the range a d see what she can do.... minute of man at 200 would be ideal

Targeting 7 pm, but you never really know with BBQ. Sometimes you end up having to drink a lot longer than expected before the meat is done.

No on 1(marijuana), I think it's a bad idea, and I feel my opinion is validated by the fact that Murphy and the Dems very much want it to pass. Not fully decided on 2 (property tax break for veterans who served in peacetime). I generally vote against anything that will raise taxes or borrowing, and I don't understand why this has to be a constitutional amendment...I think amending any constitution shouldn't be taken lightly, and NJ tends to try and do it for every little thing. That said, I need to find out how the exclusion is really defined. From what I've read, I can't tell if peacetime means service in the absence of a declared war...which is too big of an exclusion, I think (it would rule out Korea, for example). No on 3, (congressional redistricting date) again why use a constitutional amendment to determine the date of a redistricting? Plus the Republican state committee has branded this a blatant attempt by the Dems to retain additional seats by delaying redistricting by a couple of years. Increasingly, I'm living my life by the simple principle of WWMD? What Would Murphy Do? Then I do the other thing.

Hell no! Extra ammo goes in the safe deposit boxes at the bank! At this point, my ammo is worth almost as much as my house! Seriously though, I have 3 safes and there is no room in them for ammo! If you have room for ammo in your gun safe, you need more guns!

I'm sure it was "buddy" pricing. Pretty sure it was his cost. No idea. I walked into the shop, he handed me the case and told me I owed him $450. Easy peasy.

5 1/2 years of off leash training. Basic hand signals To advance forward I raise my hand straight up with a little wave. To go to the down position I slice my hand from my chest to my knee . To bark I raise my hand about face high and open and close my hand like a dogs jaws. The best part of the training is when we're done and we have this ritual I ask her if she's ready and i get a one bark response I extend my arm out at my side my dog gently grabs my hand in her mouth and we run around the inside of the ball field . Its like she's walking me. Very rewarding .

Just a reminder for anyone considering the purchase of a gun safe. Unless Murphy has changed it, there is no sales tax on a gun safe. Adios, Pizza Bob

You should test it before you need it. You have to tweak it a bit to get it to start and run at the proper RPM.

OP, Just to add, I purchased my Troy A4 (556/223) in early March just before all the craziness started. Purchased mine from Tony at Weshoot(formerly Garden State Shooting Center) in Lakewood, where I have purchased the majority of my firearms. Have been thrilled with my choice of the Troy, my first AR. Have shot approx 1,000 rounds thru it so far, no malfunctions whatsoever. Vast majority fired from the shoulder. As others have stated, firing from the shoulder is a non-issue. After a while, I did upgrade the charging handle with the one from Radian Weapons. Nothing wrong with the stock one. However the Radian one is beefier and ambidextrous and easier on my increasingly arthritic fingers and hands. Also accessorized it with a Sig Romeo 5 Red Dot sight and a Streamlight TLR-2 HL light/green laser combo. Now a great package for all use cases.

750 is nothing for this. Gianni Pirelli , Morristown, Verona is a doctor who does this. It is not a free ride to a letter, You will be evaluated.

First, welcome to the Forum! In answer to your question I can recommend a 2A-friendly guy that has been interviewed on Gun For Hire Radio with Anthony Colandro, attended NJSAFECON as a vendor to reach-out to firearms owners, who specializes in this sort of EVAL and who's practice is recognized by the state of NJ as providing expert evaluations, testimony, documents, etc.: Gianni Pirelli in Verona, NJ. https://gpirelli.com/?page_id=959 Whatever he wants, just write the check. If you've already been denied and were told to "go see someone for a letter", you're playing with a ticking time bomb. Denials have to be handled in an expedient manner. You're ON-THE-CLOCK here! Be frank on the phone when you call his office and have your paperwork in your hand when you do. Your lifetime 2A rights are on the line, and you really can't put a price tag on THAT! Pirelli literally WROTE THE BOOK on this type of EVAL! Good luck on getting this taken care of! When you can spare some time, take a glance at what the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners is all about: https://www.cnjfo.com https://www.cnjfo.com/News https://www.cnjfo.com/join-us https://www.Facebook.com/cnjfo Sincerely, Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal, VP Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners (CNJFO) P.S.: We were a vendor at the same NJSAFECON event in Princeton, NJ.

Out of curiosity... is Red Bank making you get this letter? If you're no longer on them wouldn't a letter from your attending physician/therapist suffice? I'll wait for others to chime in, but it certainly sounds like an additional form not permitted by statute. https://gpirelli.com/?page_id=959 I know Dr. Pirelli's practive does evaluations for firearms ID cards, but I have no idea what the cost is. He's in Verona, NJ.

For those voters registered Democrat, the ballots will be in your mailbox very soon. For Republican and Undeclared voters, expect your ballot sometime around Kwaanza.

Aguila's reputation for stinky ammo comes from the brands use of Eley Tenex primer in their 22lr ammo. The "cat piss" odor is pervasive at every top level 22lr match around the world. Eley primer is considered the most reliable and most consistent. Most folks that shoot 22lr are not familiar with the odor because most folks are not willing to pay $20-$30 ( in normal times) for 50 rounds of match grade 22. The use of Eley primer is not to say that all Aguila is match grade, but it is very reliable. Mexicans take their 22lr ammo very seriously, as they do with shotgun ammo, because that is typically all they are allowed to own south of the border.

Good day, It is about 2 weeks away from Shot Show opening up media registrations for Shot Show 2021. Yes, the show is going ahead and this year will be even bigger than last year. Registration will be limited with on-site registration removed and I suspect Media registration will be shut down by end of November. In prior years I have been bombarded by requests for credentials (which you need in order to register) so I have put together a single response form here. Priority will be given to those who are willing to help out with gathering content or helping capture photos/videos for my YT channel. https://forms.gle/zk1u3DSgrxuhVnPR8

That's exactly why I asked. The safes should be filled with hardware, not "food" for it. Good thing I was a good Boy Scout and stocked up when it was cheap. Apparently, some didn't learn after the Sandy Hook shooting.

At first I was gonna argue with you on that, but at current prices, yea my ammo stash value probably outpaces my guns by 4:1 or more. eta: ok maybe not quite that much... forgot how many guns I had for a minute.

I gotta know.... Is the mag in the gun? Did the gun go bang before it 'locked' up? Did the gun squib on you? Were they reloads or factory? Is this your first time with and armalite type rifle?

I disagree with Morris' assessment. When Trump wins, the left is going to go even harder, we will still have the specter of WuFlu looming over the country, people out of work, and so on. This is more than post massacre/pre-election jitters. The socialists have a toehold that they will not let go of easily. It's not like they will shake hands after they loose and say "good game" and go home. If you think it's bad now, just imagine the temper tantrum they will throw on November 4th.
