Rob0115 1,105 Posted January 12, 2015 In house build. POF lower, rock spr barrel, Leupold mk6. Magpul od cerakote. 1/2 min gun with 77smks. Is that a VLTOR fixed stock? How do you like it? I have a VLTOR fixed stock on my 6mm build and haven't tried it yet.
T1Defense 17 Posted January 12, 2015 Is that a VLTOR fixed stock? How do you like it? I have a VLTOR fixed stock on my 6mm build and haven't tried it yet. Being 5'7" the fixed stock is too long for me. I can shoot it just fine though. It was made for a shooter who is 6'00+. He loves it.
MidwestPX 172 Posted January 13, 2015 PDW-type stock installed on my Fergudishu blaster When collapsed, it's 4" shorter than a collapsed carbine stock. When extended, it's the same length as a collapsed carbine stock. It adds about 5oz to the rifle which isn't that bad since it's all at the ass end. MidwestPX 172 Posted January 13, 2015 Somebody has been hanging out with Uncle Pat too much! I need to find time to get out to Alliance this year. I asked Pat if I could run the shoothouse with a Mk46. He said I'm paying for targets

High Exposure 5,664 Posted January 13, 2015 I'm trying to get my ducks in a row for the SH and the FOF and maybe CEC class in April. 11 days with Uncle Pat - God have mercy! Mk46 in the Shoothouse would be fun and worth the price of targets.

My brother got me a giant grumpy cat throw for my birthday. Thanks for the compliments on the AR. She's light and shoots quite accurate. Can't complain. High Exposure 5,664 Posted January 14, 2015 Do you routinely take the barrel off the upper? Is that upper designed to do that?

High Exposure 5,664 Posted January 14, 2015 Intriguing, but any AR can do that without the expense or complexity of removing the actual barrel. I have a 14.5" (+ pinned brake to = 16") that I keep like this: And that fits in this:

MidwestPX 172 Posted January 18, 2015 where did u get that stock? price?? I want one. There're some patent issues but once resolved, they'll be $395. These don't require a proprietary carrier either like the Troy and NEA units.
