Mayor Against Illegal Guns caught using a gun... illegally

Recommended Posts

Classic Do as I say, not as I do huh? Too bad it wasn't Bloomberg....

This is in PA too.... so close by.

Marcus Hook, PA — A member of the Michael Bloomberg-sponsored gun control organization “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” has been arrested and charged in connection with a handgun incident at his home.

James Schiliro, a.k.a. Jay Schiliro, the mayor of Marcus Hook, a small town in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, faces charges of official oppression, reckless endangerment, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and furnishing a minor with alcohol. He surrendered to authorities on Thursday morning, and his attorney declared that “we intend to fight these charges.”

Schiliro, 38, allegedly ordered a local police officer to bring a 20-year-old male friend to his home, where the mayor plied him with alcohol, and made sexual advances which the man refused. Schiliro allegedly brandished several handguns and fired one of them into the floor in an apparent attempt to intimidate the young man, who reportedly was in fear of his life.

The mayor was freed on $50,000 bail and told to stay away from the alleged victim and give up his stash of firearms.

Schiliro, a Republican, has refused requests by town officials to step down, and he intends to continue to run in the May 21 contested mayoral primary. Mayors Against Illegal Guns reportedly dropped him immediately from the list of coalition supporters when this news emerged, however, and he no longer appears on the website of the organization of approximately 800 mayors, mostly Democrats, which is led by NYC Mayor Bloomberg.

Schiliro isn’t the only member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns who has run into trouble with the law. For example, Craig Lowe, the Democrat major of Gainesville, Florida, who appears in a gun-control commercial with Mayor Bloomberg, was recently arrested for DUI at the scene of a crash when the Highway Patrol found him asleep behind the wheel of his car. Other elected officials in the group have allegedly been been charged with corruption, assaulting a police officer, and child sex crimes.

Has King Bloomsturd commented, yet? He has a lot to say about everything else. Has he sent some of his NYC detectives to check out his alleged illegal pervert buddy a couple states over?

That should be a mandatory sentence, but given Schiliro's elite status, the mayor of Marcus Hook will probably plea bargain down. I wonder if Unconstitutional Dipshit Elitists Against the People will come out with a statement other than just kicking him out. It's too bad he either didn't get training from the NRA, or he was too busy checking out someone else's package to pay attention to firearms safety. I demand a mental health check as well, whether or not he is found guilty. And, the officer should also be charged with something as I doubt it is standard procedure to bring his boss some donuts.

My advice to the Mayor is to contact Menendez on advice on how to skirt the law and keep pervert tendencies in check. Actually, maybe he was trying to get arrested so that he could go to jail to meet Bubba.

This asshole fired a round into the floor ????? Seriously ????

Yep, and he's out on bail. I wonder if he has had a mental health check? Maybe he was attempting to follow some advice from Biden and he got door and floor mixed up.

Sounds like Mr. Mayor was trying to catch a load in his mouth, but ended up putting one in the floor instead.

....and that Ladies and Gentlemen is it in a nutshell....

He ordered a local police officer, and no one sees the problem with this part of the story? Think about that, the badge and brains that lead to this mess, think about it, just whatever you do dont discuss it here.

McGreevey had our troopers hauling around all his queer pals too. No big deal.

yep..a prime example why "our rulers" dont want law abiding citizens to have the ability to defend themselves....think how it might have gone if this kid had a ccdw.....the real kicker is the police provided the delivery service ....a sneek peek into the future?...maybe

This is one of the things I like about PA. And the charge also applies to cops violating your rights, although we understand cops do get a little leeway because they have a duty to act and not an obligation to retreat.

Look up that law.

Another article -- This mayor is a winner; all this happened while his 13 year old daughter was sleeping upstairs.

Then, “Schiliro asked the victim if (Schiliro) could perform oral sex on the (20-year-old.) Schiliro made the request repeatedly … 20 to 30 times throughout the time the victim was at the residence,” the affidavit states.

Schiliro “became very distraught” after the young man refused his requests, the affidavit states.

During the encounter, Schiliro produced three different handguns, each time waving it around recklessly inside the house and at one point, placing one of the firearms to his head and announcing, “This is the night that he didn’t want to live anymore,” according to the affidavit.

Part of the county investigation included a search of Schiliro’s home, conducted on March 7. Among the items recovered was a bullet from a wall inside the house. The 9 mm projectile was later determined to have been fired from one of eight firearms that Schiliro sold on Feb. 23, the morning after the encounter.

Despite all of this, Schiliro won't resign as he's looking to get re-erected.

One of Bloomberg’s “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” Demands Gay Sex at Gunpoint

The case of Mayor James Schiliro of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania must be a confusing one from a liberal perspective. On the one hand, Mayor James Schiliro had a bunch of guns. On the other hand, he was just using a gun toinsist on marriage equality.

Despite being a Republican, Schiliro was a member of Bloomberg’s anti-2nd amendment group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns. Unfortunately his closet was apparently full of illegal guns and gay longings.

Bloomberg’s pet org, “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” has since dropped Schiliro from the list, but maybe there needs to be a new organization. “Mayors Against Mayors Using Illegal Guns to Demand Gay Sex.”

Do you think trying to blow someone at gun point constitutes legal actions???

Of course not. Let me rephrase. What was illegal about the guns other than his actions? They could have been legally owned and this would still be a big story.

If they were really only going after illegal guns, I would willingly support them. Unfortunately, like so many liberal projects, the name is an outright lie, or at least deceptive, like the "Affordable" Care Act.

Unfortunately the naming thing crosses party lines, for example the "USA PATRIOT" Act.

WHOGAS?

That he kidnapped and held someone at gun point while trying to rape him is far more of an issue than whether or not he owned the guns legally or not, unless somehow him using legal firearms makes him a better person than using illegal ones.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in

    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
