Okay, so here's my question since I can't find anything on the forums or via Google:
My buddy's family owns a lot of property in Pennsylvania. There are no neighbors in a 500 yard radius. I would imagine it would be legal for us to bring our guns and go shooting on his property. It's not as if we would be shooting into an open field either. There will be a back stop since the way the property is, there is a giant incline there. I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with bringing guns into America and shooting "not at a range". He's currently checking with the local PD as to an ordinance, but we're also not sure if they bs the way SOME PDs (P2P issues) do here.
Also, second question: How about bringing them off the property and shooting them into the woods (not his property)? Is that allowed?
I know a lot of people here aren't lawyers, but if the consensus is NO, then I'll take that as a no. Thanks!
EDIT: Damascus, Wayne County is where we'll be. Also, there are no ordinances against discharges listed on their website or with the county.
The thing that worries me is that all of us are residents of NJ. None of us have any sort of hunting permits or PA licences (Open carry is still legal to us).

Supporters, opponents of gun control rally in Montco
The gun control controversy came to the streets of the Montgomery County seat Thursday.
About 30 supporters of gun control rallied on the steps of the county courthouse in Norristown on national “Day to Demand Action” against gun violence that was organized in the county by Lower Merion United and Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
Across the street and separated by sheriff deputies and Norristown police, another group of about 15-plus loudly made their displeasure known for any attempt to put additional controls on gun purchases and ownership.

What's the crime for riding a dirt bike on the street? Most likely a fine, misdemeanor at most. That justifies causing severe bodily injury through use of lethal force by auto? There is no way to predict that he would have hit anyone, it's more like a 99.9% he wouldn't have hit anyone. And that was a 2 lane road, not a pedestrian walkway. Hopefully he hires a good lawyer and everyone is held accountable for their actions. -

Seriously? “Sounds Fishy”? You can’t think of a reason why the cop thought that was going to happen after watching the video? The cops are there after multiple reports/complaints of vehicles in the pedestrian walkway and reports of near misses. The ATV is on a pedestrian walkway where there are not supposed to be any vehicles and is moving at very fast pace. If he couldn’t stop for the police car, what makes you think he could stop in time for a pedestrian. He dynamited the breaks to avoid hitting the car and lost complete control of the ATV. Luckily the mass of the car prevented it from continuing to tumble down the walkway and take out pedestrians like bowling pins. If he had hit the brakes like that to avoid hitting a pedestrian instead of the car, would the ATV not have flipped? What would the now out of control ATV have done to any people in the walkway? Would the first person be hit have enough mass to stop the ATV in its proverbial tracks? I have seen plenty of pedestrians stuck. It is never like the movies. They don’t parkour out of the way of a speeding car - especially when pushing a baby carriage and the vehicle is approaching from the rear in a place where you think you are safe because vehicles are it permitted. -
