Permits came in today! And I spring my new gat from jail: I was honored to be given one of Pat’s custom Colt 1911s

This happened to my wife’s car once. Right after I took out a big life insurance policy on her.

Got one of Pat’s J Frames. S&W 38-3 Airweight in .38spl. Definitely had some work done, but I don’t know the details. The gun has been coated and the trigger is smooooooth and crisp:

Done! I will do this every single day until the vote! Don't forget to sign the email. Emails that don't have a sender's name are often ignored.

And expensive. Paper shell only and dumb dress code. Not my kind of place! They are not racist, just "classists" if you know what I mean.

I considered using my KSG (before I sold it) for a round of trap at Salomon’s... think I’d have to feel it out, first. While I don’t have any hesitation with legality, I just hate listening to people apply their own version of law onto things they don’t know about. Most of the guys I shot with there would likely be interested... but I can say of one or two who would start an argument. Just realized I didn’t post this in here...

Probaby good that Miculek or even someone with half his talent doesn't shoot USPSA. He doesn't use slow steady pulls, shoots accurately...and is really fast.

Oh hell yeah Ray. This gun will get shot and most likely carried. I also got a J Frame he carried and one of his ARs. Life is good!

Funny I just copy and pasted that into a text to my wife. She laughed and commented that I’m lying about cleaning my guns. I replied in a perfect world you’d clean those while waiting for my laundry to dry. At that point, based on the response, I may have gone over the line.

Make sure you read to the end, it's a good ending.... A few weeks back, I was driving to work and caught this one at about 6:15am: I sent a link to this video to the email that Riverdale police have on their website, then I left for vacation. When I returned, this was on my phone(I clipped his name off the front of the audio clip): As I was digging through my emails, catching up, I had this in my inbox:(I deleted her name) ---------------------------- <WITHHELD> <*************@yahoo.com> Sun 5/20/2018 12:13 PM To: *******, Mark; You forwarded this message on 5/21/2018 7:20 AM. Dear Mr. ******* My name is **** ****** and I would like to thank you for sending in the video to the Riverdale PD of the accident that happened on Route 23. I believe in guardian angels and you were mine on that day. I would like you to know that you saved me a lot of money because your video showed the officer that I was not at fault. Thank you so much for taking the time to send this in even though it wasn't something you were obligated to do. Again thank you very much. Sincerely **** ******

@Howard not trying to bust your chops but too many people seek out the lightest trigger they find to use as a crutch not an advantage. Swapping out springs and other parts to become a "great shooter" is the wrong way to do it. Now I know none of us here shoots like Jerry Miculek. Some of the "great shooters" on this forum were surprised when they found out Miculek uses extra power springs in his revolvers. 10-12 lb is normal , I guess he uses 14lb or more. This assures the revolver will function as fast as he can pull the trigger. One can outrun the trigger on a revolver if the trigger is too light. One wouldn't think of participating in a triathlon without building up those muscles for running, swimming, and biking. You need to do the same if one wants to be a "great shooter". A "great shooter" can shoot just as well with a 10lb trigger as a 2.5lb trigger. Smooth is much more important than light in a trigger. I guarantee you Miculek's guns have smooth triggers and he can finger wrestle guys a lot bigger than him and win.

She likely doesn’t need it, but will make her wear it when in the crate (two more days of anti-inflammatory, so will follow the instructions and stop using it in three days). I had her with me majority of today with it off, and might have licked the incision once... It is more annoying for the fact she catches every door jam with it.

Just looked at their web page...wow. Like em or dislike em....they are definitely "old school" ... no blue jeans, collared shirts, breakopen shotguns only, (and they provide the shells!) ... but no info on how to join, for example ... I guess "If you have to ask...." www.hudsonfarmnj.com

I went and signed up for the summer special today. For 195 you can shoot all you want all summer with no additional port fees. Plus if you sign up for a regular membership at the end of the summer the cost of the summer membership is put towards your annual membership. Thanks for the tip!

given the size of the list, your email provider may impede the delivery of the mail if you do it all at once. Both gmail and office 365/outlook.com claim 500 per mail, but I can tell you MS will lock you down way sooner than that.

I haven’t run into that situation yet, but it would probably be a factor. It wouldn’t be a determining factor, but it would play into my decision. By the way, it isn’t a boycott mentality as much as just being cognizant that other options exist that *may* fit into my worldview better. If I boycotted every company that didn’t hold my worldview, I would pretty much have no possessions and would likely starve. Anyway, I think we’ve derailed this thread far enough. Back to Sig 2022s!

Yeah, throw out that ANTI label when you have nothing else to say! I know where I stand and you can believe whatever you want. If you think SCOTUS is going to rule all gun laws unconstitutional you're wrong. Based on your unlimited interpretation of the 1A and 2A there should be no state laws governing either. How does any state get away with having any gun laws? They all would be unconstitutional by your standard. How do municipalities get away requiring permits for assemblies? A 1A violation by your standard. The fact is all rights are regulated. You are compelled to submit to a search to get on a commercial airplane. You can be compelled to submit to a Customs search entering or leaving the country. You're required to prove your citizenship when entering the country. All can be considered 4A and 5A violations by your definition.

Very true that I do have options. Sadly, I think the P30 is out for me. This might sound strange, or even heretical, but I like shooting my P320 more than my VP9. (I know, different gun, but the similarities are numerous.) My VP9 has the better trigger, but I vastly prefer the grip on my P320. I've tried playing around with the grip inserts on the VP9 and I can find other configurations I like...until I actually shoot it. Then it's the same as always, where it just doesn't feel right, and it feels slippery compared to the P320. I just can't seem to find a configuration that feels like I have a solid grip on it while shooting. The P320 also seems to have less felt recoil shooting the same ammo, which I find odd, since I thought the VP9 had a lower bore axis and weighed more. Then there's the whole HK won't sell to Israel thing (not that Israel needs HK's weapons). That turns me off about HK as a whole. The CZ could be a winner, though. I should probably see if any of the ranges here have one to rent.

Don't ever be fooled by any party affiliations. They're politicians. They're not in it for the public service or civic minded duty. The'll say whatever needs to be said for whatever they want at any given moment. If that was the mood of they room at the time then that's what you'll hear. They are liars.

Thanks for your responses. I did dissemble and clean the gun before taking it out. It has very little wear and was a safe queen for a majority of its 70 plus years. Can't wait to take it back out and bust some clays

^ This. I've taken down a Pheasant at 50+ yards with the top barrel of my O/U with semi-high brass #6 shot 1350 FPS. Mod over IC as I like the pattern a little looser.

I don't know about that. By the time I retired I'd been using and overseeing Glocks for about 20 years. At the end of my career I was overseeing a couple hundred Glocks 9mms and got regular reports of issues for the several thousand my agency used. By the time I retired some of the personally owned guns has over 30,000 rounds through them. My 26 must have over 40,000 rounds through it. I have personal knowledge of exactly one part failing in that time. A recoil spring guide snapped because the guy was trying to put the gun together the wrong way. I understand there are reasons people use aftermarket parts. However, I'm of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it crowd".

State of emergency is to prevent open carry. They want to solve the opiate problem stop going after the doctors and pushing people to street pills that are made of carfentanil. People didn't start dying en masse til prescription monitoring programs were put in place. The government reacted too late to the pill mills. The cat was out of the bag. Still going after the few doctors left and legit pain patients is only increasing demand for opiates on the street. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
