2 pointsBecause they knew that one day id really, really want that vengeance m1. Would be an awesome piece to have. F*** this state and the communist sacks of s**t that run it.
-
2 pointsBecause back in the 60's there were riots in Plainfield NJ and a bunch of M1's were stolen out of a factory. The answer was to outlaw them, problem solved.

2 pointsIf the military and law enforcement members are going to obey unconstitutional orders from their superiors, then YES, they will be the enemy of the Citizenry. Just like if UN troops are sent into the US to enforce UN mandates. Isn't that why powder blue helmets glow in the dark??

1 pointNo... but he should definitely be dating my avatar. They'd be a fine-looking leather-clad couple. I really wish I could see the face that goes with the rest of that pic. Someone finally posts eye candy on here for the ladies...such a rare event... and they go and lop his head off? WTH?

1 pointI was given a case of Break Free CLP bottles along with a 1 gallon jug in the late 1980's that I got from a friend that was an armorer. This is the original Teflon stuff and that is what I use for lubing my guns (except for grease on the reveiver of the Garand, M1A and Mini14). I prefer Hoppe's solvent for cleaning. Never had an issue with this combination. I have tried some of the newer wonder lubes and was not impressed enough to switch.

1 pointThere were four sophomores taking chemistry and all of them had an 'A' so far. These four friends were so confident that the weekend before finals, they decided to visit some friends and have a big party. They had a great time but, after all the hearty partying, they slept all day Sunday and didn't make it back to Penn State until early Monday morning. Rather than taking the final then, they decided that after the final they would explain to their professor why they missed it. They said that they visited friends but on the way back they had a flat tire. As a result, they missed the final. The professor agreed they could make up the final the next day. The guys were excited and relieved. They studied that night for the exam. The next day the Professor placed them in separate rooms and gave them a test booklet. They quickly answered the first problem worth 5 points. Cool, they thought! Each one in separate rooms, thought this was going to be easy... then they turned the page. On the second page was written... ......... .................... ..................... For 95 points: Which Tire? _________

1 pointFederally, the M2 receiver is a machine gun, whether it is setup for full-auto or not. Some were sent out as surplus, converted to semi-auto, then shipped back here and sold commercially as regular carbines. ATF believes once a machine gun, always a machine gun... M1s did have some M2 parts installed. However, the ATF states that a M2 kit is comprised of seven parts. If you don’t have them all, no harm/foul. Have them all, whether installed or not (even without a M1 receiver present), you have a machine gun. https://www.atf.gov/firearms/firearms-guide-identification-firearms-section-1#M-2Carbine NJ law, they really don’t go into detail why. Probably part with the riots, part with being able to convert easily to full-auto (criminal on the Federal level, anyways... but probably “feel good” law), and part being how easy it is to cut them down (another Federal law, which correctly calls it a SBR opposed to NJ... which lists such weapons as SBS [emoji849]). In short, they are illegal in NJ, unless you had it registered as an assault weapon in the early 1990s. Cannot be transferred, even with inheritance, to anyone in NJ. If there is a new M1 Carbine put out, without that stamped on the receiver, I’d wait for a letter like the M1A/Colt Match Target or Shockwave/TAC-14/BAT DT from the NJSP/AG before taking that chance.

1 pointI thought that I'd update this since I'd decided to order from TS. I ordered a case of 9mm from them on Monday that was about $.02 per round cheaper than what FM was showing on their web site + the free shipping (FM showed all 9mm out of stock on their website when I checked). FedEx is delivering the ammo today (Thursday). Hard to beat that kind of service especially since FM would've taken about 2 weeks plus the cost of delivery.

1 pointFN model D in 308. Only a handful were made and it's a beautiful refinement of the Browning BAR.
-
1 pointWow! Seems like out of 46 full auto M1's only a few were ever recovered! Considering all of the stolen rifles were full auto, I don't understand why the ban also includes semi auto versions which were never involved!

1 pointLol the average cop would gladly bust your ass here in NJ over a folding stock or 11 round magazine or whatever else such nonsense. They wouldn't even think twice. They wouldn't give a crap. It's not personal, they wouldn't care at all. Ruining your life over some bull crap would just be a regular Tuesday to them. They've got bills to pay and a pension to collect.

1 pointYou get outside a few liberal enclaves.. people talk the walk.
-
1 pointSo let’s see, if we don’t get the injunction, and you have 15 round magazines in your home you are is a felon but if you get caught bringing them to an FFL to get them converted, you are a felon and if you get caught bringing them across the state line to get rid of them you are a felon. Well, NJ is definately living up to it’s reputation for screwing its citizens again... -Jim

1 pointThe travel issue is because an already existing law forbids transporting (among other things) "hi cap mags" which is what the state now calls 11+. Typical ambiguous, confusing NJ bullshit so the legal eagles are suggesting dont transport.

1 pointStrange, I was fine qualifying with my M9 Beretta, and I was still fine a few months later, after retiring, firing my Beretta 92F. Never got the "affliction".

1 pointA ‘TRUE STORY ABOUT’ General McChrystal's resignation in Obama's office from General McChrystal's book! NEVER STAND IN LINE AGAIN Some men carry and handle their diplomacy better than others. When former U.S. Military commander in Afghanistan, General McChrystal, was called into the Oval Office by Barack Obama, he knew things weren't going to go well when the President accused him of not supporting him in his political role as President. "It's not my job to support you as a politician, Mr. President, it's my job to support you as Commander-in-Chief," McChrystal replied, and he handed Obama his resignation. Not satisfied with accepting McChrystal's resignation, the President made a cheap parting shot. "I bet when I die you'll be happy to piss on my grave." The General saluted and said, "Mr. President, I always told myself after leaving the Army, I’d never stand in line again.”

1 pointOne evening, after the honeymoon, Tom was working on his guns in the garage. His new wife was standing there by the bench watching him. After a long period of silence she finally said, "Honey, I've just been thinking, now that we are married, maybe it's time you quit spending so much of your time out here in your garage. You probably should also consider selling your gun collection and that reloading equipment. Tom got a horrified look on his face. She said, "Darling, what's wrong?" He replied, "There for a minute, you were starting to sound like my ex-wife." "Ex-wife!?" she screamed, "YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU WERE MARRIED BEFORE!" Tom replied, " I wasn't
