Are you getting a malfunction and then manipulating the slide in an attempt to clear it first, and then ending up with a double feed with two live rounds? Did you keep any of the rounds that this happened too? Where the two rounds inline with each other ie: The nose of the second round up against the rear of the case that’s in the chamber? Or was one in the chamber and the other all jumbled in there? In my experience, two live rounds in the chamber is almost exclusively a magazine issue....

There are plenty of cases where regular people like us got charged with premeditated murder for having a gun at the ready when someone was stalking their house. Some were innocent people that are just always prepared, some were people that have been messed with multiple times and got prepared.

Any thermostat that has a jumper between R and RC can be used to control 2 separate systems. Remove the R-RC jumper, heat uses R and W. Air conditioner uses RC , G and Y. Years ago you needed a special sub base to do this, most newer digital thermostats are set up for it.

Check your ejector - Its possible for a fired case to strip a round out of the magazine if it doesn't get ejected, and then another gets stripped by the slide.

Back to orig idea. Go to dealer, confront them, demand to see mechanic and make him realize your onto his game. Come near your home, you consider it intent to harm your family. Can go 2 ways. He can gently be escorted to jail by pd OR you can simply just break his neck if he stomps on your property. I vote for the latter! I apologize for my snarky reply and I rescind my dis-invitation - this would be an excellent topic to discuss. I think the impetus for Starbucks response falls under the heading of things the gun community can do, but probably shouldn't. As Sgt Toadette pointed out, they were pushed into a corner by a bunch of yahoo's in Texas that decided to open carry AR15's into a Starbucks - just because they could. Poor judgement that reflected badly on the community as a whole. It is not like Starbucks is trying to subvert our 2A rights like Dick's is - it was just a business decision. I certainly would not be comfortable walking into a Starbucks with my granddaughters, when there are people that are already displaying a penchant for bad judgement in attendance. Good choice with the G-Shock. I have two Citizens (one an Eco and one old one my dad gave me back in high school), a Girard Perregaux that was my grandfathers (that I am afraid to wear) and a few others that I can't remember the manufacturer. I will wear the Citizen EcoDrive when I need to wear something fancy, but 360+ days a year I have the Casio on. I don't worry about gunpowder, dirt, grime, fish guts or anything else on it. It's not crazy expensive but the thing is a tank.

Yes, conductor size is the first concern, but backfeeding the complete panel is also really stupid. Most people don't understand loads, and will try to turn on everything in the panel, like normal.

In order for the round to feed, it must be stripped from the magazine by the slide. Once the slide travels forward to chamber the round, no way can the next round inline rise, unless the slide retracts again. Of course, you know that. Good luck. Sent from an undisclosed location via Tapatalk

And that is the trouble with NJ law. Technically no modified 15 rounds magazines should be capable of being modified to 10 rounds since they were already permanently modified to 15 rounds to be legal under the law. Sort of a catch 22. These are all my "two zero" watches. Actually I have a smartwatch as well that is more like an extension of my phone. But each of these to me is an every day type of watch. My favorites are the 2 citizen calibre's. Reasonable price, never needs a battery and imo great aesthetics. The "rubbery one" is the suunto core. I've beat the shit out of the watch and have had no issues. I like the fact that it has a built in compass and storm alert. Very comfy as well. Not a fan of g shocks. Lots of nonsense in here but just want to throw out some personal evidence to support wml. At a recent mandatory force on force training I was armed with a sim rifle that was identical to my issued gun in every way save for wml placement. I was rapidly approached by an unknown person in a well lit warehouse full of overhead fluorescent lights. Despite that fact, the unknown was mostly backlit and I was unable to determine what, if anything, was in his hands. In fact, I truly believed he was holding a handgun and delivered a few well-placed rounds, at which time he fell to the ground and I saw that he was unarmed. On another note, I have spent probably hours with my gun drawn inside stranger's homes with only a few years of experience as a LEO. This is a common occurrence and I'd hope that you guys who decry the use of a wml are not comfortable ending a young cop's life over your stubborn misconception that you don't need a wml.

Yeah, except that term is defined by statute in NJ. So I guess if your AR does not meet the definition, because you don't have the necessary number of evil features, then the form does not apply--another reason why the form is just plain stupid.

I hunt in Canada twice a year with a group of retired Canadian military guys. Nobody is allowed to carry handguns except LEO and military. According to the RCMP in order to carry for protection in the woods: "In general, the only firearms allowed for wilderness protection are non-restricted rifles and shotguns. The following individuals, provided they are Canadian residents and have a licence that allows them to possess restricted firearms, may be authorized to carry a handgun or restricted long gun for wilderness protection: licensed professional trappers, and individuals who need protection from wild animals while working at their lawful occupation, most often in a remote wilderness location." I would recommend mailing your handgun from the last CONUS state you will be traveling through prior to entering Canada to yourself at a location in Alaska and doing the reverse for the return trip.

I agree with @louu that when it comes to gun lubrication if you ask 10 people for their opinions and preferences you will get 10 different answers. I have asked numerous gun folks, (including former members of the military; gunsmiths and firearms manufacturer reps), about their preferences for this supposedly straight forward gun lubricating topic and have received multiple and contradictory opinions. I started to realize that many gun folks really do not know (or care) about the differences between greases and oils and use whatever is at hand at the moment. I recognize that everyone has an opinion on this topic and sticks with whatever they have been using that works for them, which is fine. Ultimately, either grease or oil will both reduce friction and wear on the moving parts of a firearm and both will fight corrosion. Finally, any lubricant is better than no lubricant. Now after doing my own research, along with some trial & error testing to satisfy my curiosity, this is what I do: As mentioned earlier by @shooter28 and @JackDaWack, I also subscribe to the old axiom of “if it rotates use oil. If it slides use grease”. Grease is just a lubricant with a thickening agent to help keep it from migrating. Viscous gun oil tends to displace more easily from their original and intended use location, which may potentially be a problem. It makes sense to me that for high friction reciprocating surfaces such as a slide, that a grease that does the following three things, would be preferable to any oil: 1. Stays in place 2. Does not evaporate in high heat 3. Does not easily seep into other parts of the gun Echoing both @MacDanand @PeteF, when I use grease I use: Mil-Comm Products’ TW25B Synthetic Grease. When I bought my Sig Sauer P226 MK-25 it came with a small tube of this specific gun grease, which Sig Sauer recommends highly, especially for the metal-to-metal sliding surfaces, such as racking the slide, etc. That grease is American-made and from conducted field tests, has proven to have exceptional lubricating performance in adverse weather conditions which has made it the preferred gun grease used by US and European Military. I like the fact that once applied, this grease does not migrate or seep around to other areas of the gun, specifically the exterior of the gun. The plastic, re-closable tapered tip is useful for applying a small drop or bead to specific or hard to reach areas of a semi-automatic pistol slide. I use this grease for lubricating the rails of the slide & frame, whether it is metal-to-metal or metal-to-polymer, on all of my handguns, as well as on my AR and the receiver and barrel hinge pin of my O/U shotgun and the threads of the chokes, using a small disposable flux brush, as described by @GRIZ. For what it is worth, I also use the M-Pro 7 military grade gun cleaning and lubrication product line, using their specific products for each task and for the parts where I choose to use oil as a lubricant. The M-Pro 7 products are used by the U.S. military and perform above the minimum MILSPEC requirements. AVB-AMG
