After Menendez was re-elected I lost all hope on the voters of NJ. Its too far gone to ever get turned around. How anyone could vote for him I have no clue. And they voted biggly for him! Just shows the mind set in this state.

In fifteen to twenty years, all but the largest brick and mortar stores will be gone. All but the largest malls in NJ will be gone (think Woodbridge Center) will be gone. We don't have a "needed revenue" problem in NJ, we have a spending problem.....on things we shouldn't be spending anything on.

@Downtownv hmmm, fried chicken by a campfire!

Well, look on the bright side. At least you have many acquaintances that can tolerate you.

And I have yet to hear a compelling reason for hating Trump.

The Republican party is non-existent in NJ....face it....it's over.....and firearm related activities in this state are all but done,,,,get your families together and move befor your taxes go higher....OMO.
  9. 2 points
Well, scotus has judged repeatedly that police are not liable for your demise or lack of protection. So who’s responsible for and or liable for your protection. the republic is going bananas

Another question came up with my wife during this discussion, what about if the sale took place in one of NJ's (UEZ) urban enterprise zone's with a 3 % sales tax. will the state adjust for that?

Boats, that recipe is further back in this thread. Try it, even your Neanderthal Boatswains Mate ass will like it! Maybe we need to post pictures, cause I know you can’t read! (love ya, Boats!!) lol

Better yet @BoatGuy, we’ll have to guilt @Downtownv into cooking up a mess of my Mommas chicken and bringing it to one of the shotgun shoots!

Shit. I'm guessing we don't want to do pumpkins this time. To many people and I'm sure an excess of rangers with nothing to do Parking will probably be a nightmare but the range should be relatively clear besides the wack jobs who will try and walk it Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

You should have been paid at the point when the gun was given to the dealer... just saying for others reading this as thats the point the firearm is no longer yours.

I wanted to share this option since it appeared things had gone quiet in recent weeks regarding what options are available. Each of us will have to decide what is best for our own situation. E.g. do nothing, bury them, have them modified, store them out of state at a relatives house, use Gunsitters, destroy and discard them, safe deposit box out of state, boating accident, and so on. Some options are legal, some are not. Pick your poison. And yes, this whole situation really sucks.
  21. 2 points
some guys would look at that as a plus.

Ha Ha.. Wifey was watching the news tonight during dinner going, WTF..., then she turns to me and says "You better buy more guns"!! This, coming from the woman who doesn't even like my "hobby" and wants nothing to do with it... There just might be hope for her, after all!

I hope those who fled find what they wanted but am concerned it just lets this political cancer spread without their support here. Me? I doubled down. If these antagonists want my homeland, then I have two words for them: Molon labe.

Most of what I heard on 101.5 is they voted for Menendez because they hated Trump. People are ridiculous. It explains a lot about the assholes in this state.

When we say this is casual, we really mean it. People can come even if they don't post up here. The more the merrier, and the more newbies the better too. We like to initiate people.

A lot of you are advising illegal activity. Don’t do that

I'm very concerned on the slide the whole country is taking. I look at the vote count and they are all way too close for comfort. Look at Fla for instance. Way too close for a "free" state.

Here's the money shot: "Given that the justifiable need requirement does not infringe upon a clearly enumerated right, and, even if it did, it has been upheld under traditional judicial scrutiny.".... So in other words because they've gotten away with being wrong and infringing before they can do it again. This is why anything below a scotus ruling will never work.

It's a spice packet - not a sauce... I put that shit on everything... and I tend to ask for extra cuz it's awesome on popcorn too.

Added my replies within the body... Contacting people does not work when they are not engaged... The way to do it would be at the gun stores when they are engaged and buying something that might become illegal in a few months and cost them money. I certainly do my part.... Politics is a major show in my place... just read my reviews LOL People enjoy it... We engage them.. They engage us.. Lots drive well past other stores for that exact reason... I hope that within the banter and political discussion in the shop they actually take something home with them besides the gun.

Sure....multiple reasons mainly....we do a poor job as activists....or state orgs do a bad job to educate ... Whatever your angle those in here get it and are kinda plugged in. How many run of the mill gun owners dont know jack shit about the curremt laws...recently enacted laws and the reaming we are going to get... Saw a guy by 5 ar lowers for builds last sat...he knew nothing abput the mags laws..nothing about any of em.... i asked him what is he going to do when they are all but banned next year....you know zero feature rifles....or outright ban... he had the dumbest look on his face... The point is, if we can find a way to gain every fid holders info in state, we can start a campaign to educate them and hopefully activate them.....by reaching out to them Relying on people to educate themselves is like putting tetas on a bull NJ is lost.... gone kaput. Move and not only because of the 2A Menedez got reelected....let that sink in. I read and interesting story about the potential split of the US into red and blue... i hope to be in the red zone if and i pray when it happens...

Hmmm. As a seller, if the buyer was satisfied with the firearm, I would insist on the payment first, then turn the firearm over to the dealer. No need for me to hang out. Sent from an undisclosed location via Tapatalk

And you don't understand the basic premise of ex post facto. What it means is changing a law then charging you for your past actions that were legal before the law was changed. Changing the law and charging you for your actions after the law was changed does not violate the premise of ex post facto. Ex Mag limit was 15 rounds and you had 15 round mags. No legal violation. They change the law to 10 round mags. They can not charge you for your previous possession of 15 round mags. They can however charge you for continuing to possess the 15 round mags after the law was changed. Not ex post facto. Even easier you bought extascy or GHB when it was legal. You get caught with it today. You can't claim ex post facto. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Everyone here is an adult and can choose how they want to respond.
  46. 1 point
I agree it's a slippery slope however if a law is passed on the basis that it might prevent something like this and then the law is not used then there was no reason to pass the law in the first place. Like Parkland this guy by all accounts I've read was known to law enforcement and nothing was done.

$1.25 a month per mag is just nuts unless you're leaving the state fairly soon. I'm sending mine to my sister in Fla. If I couldn't do that I'd take a hammer to them and throw them in the lake down the street or send them to murphy and let him do something with them. (with no return address)

Isn’t a glock 21 the same as an AR15 just more concealable?

Judges Marie P. Simonelli and Amy O'Connor have twisted words and concepts in order to toe the Progressive line and keep the law abiding gun owners of NJ from carrying for their own protection in blatant disregard to the rulings of the US Supreme Court. May they burn in Judicial Hell, although that would be a redundancy. And now it's on to the NJ Supreme Court.

“Given that the justifiable need requirement does not infringe upon a clearly enumerated right, and, even if it did, it has been upheld under traditional judicial scrutiny, our holding in Wheeler should not be disturbed on the basis of Jillard's meritless misunderstanding of Heller. Simply put, Heller precluded untethered subjective judicial inquiries into firearm regulations to determine their constitutionality, not valid subjective case-by-case justifiable need inquiries under constitutional firearm regulations.” So they assume that Jillard doesn’t understand and apply Heller appropriately, via an assumption on justifiable need. They did not provide their objective standrd that defines the basis of their assumptions and faith in defining and employing justifiable need, including the fact that it may be determined on a case by case basis with variable human involvement. What a terrible ruling, and misunderstanding of the statistics and reality of the situation!
