Zimmerman found not guilty

Recommended Posts

I was in AC last night, felt perfectly safe as I went from the car to the elevator to the Trop and back to my car and immediately on my way home. Now, would I walk down the street to just "see the sights?" hell no.

I walked the streets of AC plenty of times.. we used to park at the casinos.. and then walk down to AC bar and grill.. and then end the night at studio 6.... I spent a lot of time on the streets there.. and I never had a problem.. I never even came close to getting in a fight in the streets.. but even with that said they are still sketchy and I was to terms with the fact that I might have a problem....

My buddy has a house on Florida ave. we use to go down all the time. He still does. It was in the ghetto and the sights we saw. Cops chasing people, pimps, hookers. Never a dull moment.

Oh here it is. Stupid quote of the day. From fox 29

A similar rally in Wilmington, Delaware, where dozens of parents embraced their kids, worried what happened to Trayvon Martin, could happen to their children.

"I don't want my children to walk the streets where people feel like it's necessary for them to defend themselves because that's when things really get ugly," says Charity Johnson, a Parent.

Keep in mind that the upcoming heat wave for the next 5 days could add some fuel to the fire.

One of the most astute and accurate foreshadowing observations made on this topic in 48 hours.

This isnt over and all it takes is one match to burn down a house or one degree hotter to boil over.

the easiest way to avoid problems is to not go places where you are likely to find trash... I gave up on AC a long time ago... it is a real shit hole...

I haven't been to AC in about 30 years. I don't think I've missed anything.

I can't believe how many people in this thread are allowing race (and some their personal dislikes of certain races) color their perception of this.

At the same time so many people fail to understand that this would have been a non-story if not pushed by certain parties who have one distinct goal "You should be dependent, and shall not do anything for yourself"  Look how much effort went into painting Zimmerman as a vigilante and how much they tried to make it about the stand your ground laws who never entered in the conversation.

Race is what they fell back on when everything else failed.

Stop worrying about race, making comments about "jungle mentality" or comparing one event with another is counterproductive here because you are falling victim to the dichotomy the politicians use to keep you under their influence.

Let go of that crap and think of the real goals of the media and government here.

What I hate most about this whole circus act is that this trial was politically motivated. Prosecutors job is to get to the bottom of a case based on facts. This was not done. We also know that judges are also politically appointed. She I felt was unfair due to political pressure or she was just about to get her period. Thank God this was a jury trial. Politics and trials don't mix.

As much as I agree with you, it is an insipid actuality that we have been manipulated into reverting to race. That's what they want and they're very very good at it. The black population has been thoroughly brainwashed into counting on democratic demagogs for their every need. And the demagogs won't stop in their quest for power. Yet the ultimate goal is our disarmament and dependence. They seem to have started with the black community, won that handily and now moving on the other groups. Including guilty white rich folk.

It is so god damn obvious. Yet the majority maintain the façade and we continue to spiral downward.

Not sure of the reasoned response to all of this.

And while I'm at it, do we remember the Petit home invasion in Cheshire, Connecticut? 3 people died at the hands of two deranged thugs. Where were the demonstrations against the inability of this family to protect themselves? Where was the media outrage? Oh wait, the perps were white as was the family.

To hear a pretty good take on all this listen to this gentleman. Warning, he's a bit rough and doesn't mince words and challenges the demagogs;

The national conversational toolbox has been stripped of the vocabulary required to have a productive discussion. All the words and terms currently utilized direct the conversation to a pre-determined conclusion. See my post on this here in another thread:

Well said.

The real goal is politics of "divide and conquer".

Yep, and while public is too busy hating someone because of race, religion or "baby killing gun" ownership, politicians proceed with their dirty deeds unnoticed.

I agree with this completely. Obama is bi-racial yet we say that he's the "first black President" yet George is bi-racial and he's just considered white.

Race only becomes a factor when it's convenient for either side. This kid attacked George and was put down.

Obama is the first white/black president......

New Jersey judges are politically appointed. In other states they are elected. Either way it was still political. This never should have made it to trial. I would still like to know how they got around a grand jury indictment and were allowed to take it to trial.
