All Glock?

Recommended Posts

Anyone on here have a gun collection/lineup that is all Glock, only Glock, and nothing but the Glock?

Just wondering how many people fall into that category. I read on some other forums that some people have decided to sell everything else and just keep an all Glock stash.

That's the saddest thing I've ever heard.

I have 2 Glocks. If I could only have 1, it would be a Glock. If I could only have 2, they would both most likely be Glock. Thank god NJ isn't that retarded, and I can have the variety of manufacturers that I own. Variety is the spice of life.

I have a customer who collects Glocks. He now has all the models, and is working on getting all the colors. I never hear him mention any other makes.

I have a collection of only five guns, all glocks (43, 19, 34, 22, 35)  They sit all nicely together on one shelf.  All my other guns are in a separate collection on lower shelves :)

Almost.... I have 6 Glocks and a Kahr PM9.

I have to carry a Glock at work, so why have anything else? I have had a 1911, Sig 226, HK P2000, M&P .45, at different times, and there are a few other guns I want, but I'm not spending the time or money to shoot and train with them when I have to carry the G22. The Kahr fills a niche and is close enough in feel and manual of arms that I make an exception, and I rarely shoot it more than a mandatory qualification 2 times a year.

I'll stick with Glocks until I don't have to. Then I'll start shooting other stuff.

IIRC, you hated the Glock 22 while we did a steel match a few years ago. What has changed?

Not me buddy. I have shot every steel match I have ever attended with a Glock 35.

That makes sense. But I do remember us talking and you saying that you did not like your duty gun.

But the truth is. Your ppq kicks ass over any glock. ????

Are they still making that Q5 Match pistol?  I feel like I heard a ton about it and it dropped off -

Yes they still make it and it is a hot gun, lots of people buying them.  It has some sort of Apex trigger and mounting plates like a Glock MOS.  I actually like the trigger on my M2 better.  Mine is a much lighter pull, especially with the trigger return spring changed.  Some like the Q5 as the pull is shorter and crisper, guess it is all personal preference.

It looks super sweet with the ported slide and blue trigger - With all the optic ready pistol craze I have been debating a G17 or G19 MOS pistol with my BL discount coupon this year, and take my time and eventually build it with optic as a sweet range/competition toy -

Glockenberger syndrome is a disease.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
