Casablanca. Something for everyone love story, action, intrique, comedy, and historical fiction. I got to see it on the big screen 10 days ago. I have several dvds and vhs of the movie but when I see it on TCM its like a found treasure.

Raiders was my favorite movie growing up.

As an adult, Master and Commander is my favorite movie ever. Unnfortunately it does not come on that often.

Of course I will always watch Ronin or Casablanca when they are on too.

Nah, I know plenty of guys who think it is a turd of a movie. I personally think it varies highly in the quality of the execution, is horrifically long and boring, and those two combined makes it feel very meandering and poorly focused. The characters range from beige to unlikable, and even if they WERE likable, you would hate them after being stuck in a waiting room with them prattling on for three hours... four plus if it is on a channel with commercials. I hate watching golf on TV, and I'd rather watch golf than the godfather in a heartbeat. I might have to think about which one I'd prefer if you gave me the choice of a c-span 2 quality filibuster, or the godfather.

 

As for what I'llw ind up watching when I didn't even intend to jsut because I saw it was on... the list is too long. There are tons of good and or fun movies.

Despite having once worked in a theater for a year and a half, I don't watch a lot of movies. That being said, here are a few I've watched a ton of times.

 

Rear Window- I've seen it like, 20 times, but I always see stuff I've never noticed before. Still a great movie

Zombieland- Perhaps my favorite movie of all time. Plus, at parts, it's like gun porn.

Kickass- Another great movie I have seen a ton of times, it still cracks me up

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist- Yes. It's more of a girl's movie, but I still like it.

All the Harry Potters

Most of the Bond movies. Definitely the Connery and Broslin eras. The ones from teh 90s and newer, I don't really care much for them. (Well, haven't seen them, so I suppose I shouldn't say that.)
