6 pointsFrom The Patriot Post on 6/6/18: OPINION IN BRIEF Walter Williams: "Having enjoyed my 82nd birthday, I am part of a group of about 50 million Americans who are 65 years of age or older. Those who are 90 or older were in school during the 1930s. My age cohort was in school during the 1940s. Baby boomers approaching their 70s were in school during the 1950s and early '60s. Try this question to any one of those 50 million Americans who are 65 or older: Do you recall any discussions about the need to hire armed guards to protect students and teachers against school shootings? Do you remember school policemen patrolling the hallways? How many students were shot to death during the time you were in school? For me and those other Americans 65 or older, when we were in school, a conversation about hiring armed guards and having police patrol hallways would have been seen as lunacy. There was no reason. What's the difference between yesteryear and today? The logic of the argument for those calling for stricter gun control laws, in the wake of recent school shootings, is that something has happened to guns. Guns have behaved more poorly and become evil. Guns themselves are the problem. The job for those of us who are 65 or older is to relay the fact that guns were more available and less controlled in years past, when there was far less mayhem. Something else is the problem. Guns haven't changed. People have changed. Behavior that is accepted from today's young people was not accepted yesteryear." How very true!

4 pointsImagine if Missouri had a law that it was a felony to have a red pen in your left pants pocket and having a red pen in your left pants pocket was an automatic 3-1/2 to 10 years in prison. Would you research pen carrying laws before visiting Missouri? I wouldn't think to do so. It's too silly to think that carrying a pen would be illegal. NJ's laws are that silly to the rest of the country. They don't fail to learn our laws as much as they just never imagine that such ridiculous laws could even exist.

2 pointsOnce POS Murphy signs this shit storm it is time for a class action lawsuit on an illegal taking of property. How can they make your "HUGE" 15 round mags illegal that you legally bought under state law without compensating your for them. Imagine if they decided your home did not meet new zoning and they decided to just take it from you without compensation.

2 pointsNever did I say that pancakes can't be paired with eggs and bacon. I stated that not only can waffles be paired with them, waffles can be paired with other foods to make not only delicious breakfasts but also delicious lunches, diners, and deserts. Unlike pancakes (the inferior food)

2 pointsBetter than CA, NRA gave us their law firm In DC. Big Hitters. And Dan Schmutter and Scott Bach are the point men in NJ. Me I'm just the agitator. As it should be. As God intended! Ant

2 pointsI am always available. I do not sell guns. Only transfers for members. Last 10 years NRA and ANJRPC spent over 1 mil on lawsuits. Mostly RTK. As for future lawsuits, we cannot sue until Murphy signs the bills into law! And believe me we are all prepared and ready. Anthony [email protected]

1 pointI am a little angry today. I picked up an antique Finnish Mosin and Beretta 1934 yesterday total transfer and NICS $60. An antique is not even a firearm in every state except NJ and Hawaii. Most states except the Communist Few I could have a C&R Handgun sent to my house with a FFL03 License, but not in NJ. Now $60 is cheap compared to many of the NJ FFL's, but it is still a lot more than $0. Why hasn't ANJRPC filed lawsuit for NJ's refusal to recognize Federal FFL03? Why doesn't Anthony talk about this on his Podcast? Because the foxes are guarding the henhouse. That is why. Until we vote the dealers out of the leadership positions, or form a new organization, the firearms laws in NJ will always suck, because dealers profit off of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

1 pointThere's so much fail in the above statement. However, when all we can muster for a protest in Trenton, announced well in advance, is approximately 2,000 people out of an estimated 1,000,000 gun owners, that's a 0.2% representation. And that was only for a "rally", where we were guaranteed not to get arrested. So how many will rise up? The American Revolution saw a participation level of about 3% of the population. Today, that number would more likely be 0.00003% of the American Gun Owner, in NJ that would mean 30 gun owners. Yes, 30 people would easily be incarcerated by the State, 300 would be more difficult, 3,000 you're now achieving 'civil disobedience' levels and 30,000, you've reached the "Government GFY" level. But this is NJ. We can't even get 10% of the people to vote, and that's WITH dead people voting.

1 pointPart of the allure of the Enfield is the history of them. IMO there is going to be a crash in Milsurp Prices just like what happened with Civil War Firearms Prices. The reason is going to be more supply than demand. When all those 70+ year olds start dying off and their collections hit the market there won't be enough demand to buy them up which will drive down prices. All bubbles burst. If Milsurp prices drop commercial prices will never rise. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

1 pointYou can shoot any or all of the events either day. If you wish, you can shoot multiple events with most stock Glocks. Read the following docs, and you'll be fine. It's quite beginner-friendly. Courses of Fire New Competitor Brief Rule Book, also describes which guns are eligible for which events

1 pointHere we go, people! IHOP is changing their name to IHOb Because they know pancakes just don't cut it!
-
1 pointEverything is done from the ready position. So no need for a holster. You'll need an extra mag cause the plates is 4 runs. If u do t have one you can borrow one of mine. Just lemme know what Glock u are shooting.
-
1 pointLots of fun and no pressure. Get there early as the lines for the stages can get long. Take your time when shooting. Misses cost time so try not to miss. Do the plate rack last. it goes quickly and there is less wait. You can find info about the stages here: http://gssfonline.com/courses.cfm The Glock Report comes out twice a year and the second volume contains details about the matches. The latest one I could find on their website is from 2016: http://www.gssfonline.com/glockrpt/2016_The_Glock_Report_VOLII.pdf
-
1 pointIt's a great time. It's $35 to join GSSF and $30 per Glock gun u want to shoot. 3 stages. Time and accuracy count. Random prizes including $$$, Guns, Knives etc. If u come in first in a division u win a gun, second is $$$ and third is usually a knife. The shooting usually takes 3-4 hours at most. Ammo count is like 120ish rounds to be on the safe side. I will be going with my teammates to shoot. The last 3 years I have won guns by placing. It's good times.
-
1 pointI wonder what would happen if, assuming the 10 round mag limit passes, some particularly rebellious individuals started planting empty 11+ rd mags (say tiny ones, like for ruger 10-22’s) on legislators, their family and/or friends, and anonymously alerting the police to their possession.

1 pointHope so for his sake Not that I want to wish ill on someone, but no... he should suffer the consequences just the same as us mere civilians. I hate the rules as much as the next person, but them's the rules, and they should be applied equally. Perhaps if a supposed "protected" person were to learn they weren't so protected, they would choose differently when it comes to who makes the rules, and who enforces them.
-
1 pointHere is where you and your friend, Greenday, go off the rails, blaming firearms for suicides. In SUCCESSFUL suicides, a firearm was a popular choice. But when you look at total ATTEMPTED suicides, including the UNSUCCESSFUL attempts, firearms don't even make it into the top category. @AVB-AMG see a problem yet with your and @Greenday narratives?
-
1 pointIf I had found it..... and no one saw it other then me.... Yeah, I might have done that. BUT since multiple people already knew about pistol within minutes of the employee finding it.... no way around doing it by the book...
-
1 pointI can never understand how anyone can just forget their gun. I still feel for the guy. World of hurt comin his way.
-
1 pointMurphys first catch, going to try and make a big example. Feel for the person. Didnt he (Murphy) say he would not pardon anyone for any reason.

1 pointexactly, none of their business. I have 9 mags because I "Want" 9 mags and because I had no room left in my safe for the 10th mag!
-
1 pointand the correct answer would be : it's got nothing to do with "need". it's got to do with what i want.
