@Ray Ray & @myhatinthering I'm in the process of vetting the Saturday April 27th date. So far it looks to be a "GO!", and I'll have our Treasurer, Jack Pyle, make an additional Hog Hunt sign-up page on our website. It will probably say "Spring Hog Hunt" or something similar so as to differentiate between the two Hunt Pages. As soon as the NEW web page is up FOR THE NEW HUNT, you'll be able to register with a cc deposit by clicking on the NEW hot link I don't have YET. Thank you both for your interest! Rosey

The family members of the 3 people murdered should be able to sue the county officials that put the policy in place. https://www.theblaze.com/news/2018/11/09/triple-murder-suspect-is-an-illegal-immigrant-released-last-year-despite-ice-detainer-request?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Daily-Newsletter__PM-Final 2018-11-09&utm_term=TheBlaze Daily PM - last 270 days

https://thereformedconservative.org/weimar-republic-and-gun-control/ Weimar Republic and Gun Control The Weimar Republic instituted compulsory gun registration. Every German had to report gun ownership to the state. This was apparently no big deal at first, when the moderate Weimar Republic was still the ruling government in Germany. But then the Nazis took power and used the gun registry to identify and move against political opponents. Don’t say it couldn’t happen here. So many are ready to throw the Bill of Rights out the window in pursuit of Socialism. So many others are resigned to abdicate their liberties quietly rather than speaking up or defending them. There is no reason in the world it could not happen here. History has proven repeatedly that a disarmed populace is at the mercy of whoever seizes the government. And the same evil which leads some persons to murder others can fill the heart of governing officials too. When it does, and the power of the State turns against its own people, the results are horrific. Once we surrender our God-given rights to possessing effective weapons, there is no going back. Look elsewhere besides gun control. Look to promoting virtue, respect, honor, love, and self-discipline. Look to restoring the Christian faith, sincere prayer and repentance to public life in this country. And look to parents instilling their own children with the tools necessary to live healthy, well-adjusted, and appropriately, rather than abdicating their responsibilities. But do not give the Progressives what they have been clamoring for in gun control for the past century. We know Progressives only want gun control so they can control us more broadly. The core thought here was the core thought there. Let me ask you. Why were the Nazis so evil? Were they just cartoonishly delighted in being bad? The answer is a resounding “no.” On the contrary, the Nazis thought they were doing the best thing in the world. They thought they were saving the world. And the fundamental reason why the Nazis thought they were permitted to commit mass murder and genocide is the same fundamental reason, at its heart, why Progressives want to take away our guns, defend and subsidize abortion, promote socialized medicine, and all the rest. The core thought here was the core thought there: that the State is ultimately responsible for the collective, and decides in a moral vacuum what is expedient, and who should live and die based on the needs of the many rather than on universal standards of justice and truth. In short, both Nazi Germany and Progressive Americans believe that the State gets to play God and say what is good and evil, and dictate even the most intimate parts of our lives for us

Thank you for posting something we all know. Still, no information is collected by the NJSP or ATF regarding ammunition sales. I was a NJ Dealer for 12 years and don't recall one time an inspector even looked at the ammo book. Sent from an undisclosed location via Tapatalk

So good news, work went smoother and faster than expected and I made it home at a reasonable hour. So...I present pictures. Following pictures are the "lower-resolution" versions. If you want the full-resolution version, right-click the picture and look for something like "copy image location" and paste that into a new browser window. Remove the 's' in front of the .jpg and hit enter.

Make sure Murphy's home address is also listed... ...."Luis Perez, a 23-year-old who is charged with killing his two roommates and a woman who was with him for the first two murders, was released from Middlesex County Jail in February, as the jail did not cooperate with an active detainer request from ICE. “This tragedy might have been avoided had it not been for the reckless policy required of the Middlesex County Jail by their county officials,” John Tsoukaris, a Newark field office director, said. “Despite such policies, ICE [Enforcement and Removal Operations] will continue to enforce federal immigration law and prioritize public safety in the community.” From New Jersey to Missouri: Perez was in Middlesex County Jail in December 2017 on domestic violence charges. Middlesex County is a sanctuary county, so the jail did not notify ICE when Perez was being released at the conclusion of his criminal proceedings." How much longer can this blatant disregard for federal laws be ignored?

I tend to favor N-Frame Smith & Wesson revolvers. In the last 3 months I've added two to my collection and they pretty much span the normal barrel length range offered. First was this Model 25-14. This is chambered in .45 ACP/AR and sports a 3" barrel. It is one of 250 made for Lew Horton (a distributor)... I picked up this next gun last night. Reflecting on what I already had, I realized that I had no Model 27's and also that I had no N-frames with an 8 3/8" barrel. I remedied both situations by purchasing this Model 27-2. It was the last iteration to have a pinned barrel and recessed chambers. It came complete as you see it - presentation case, tools and documents... I don't have any .41 Mag N-frames (Models 57 & 58) and really have no desire to have one. As I've gotten older I've become recoil averse and I have nothing else chambered in that caliber, so don't see the need to add it. What might interest me would be an original Model 520 .357 Mag. The only other fixed sight N-frame, besides the Model 58 (and few distributor specials - There was a fixed sight Model 29). Adios, Pizza Bob

Granted but those are most likely American citizens. Granted (again) they are mostly criminals using illegally obtained firearms or in many cases prohibited individuals who shouldn't even be touching a firearm. The slap in the face with this, and other similar stories, is. 1. This person should never have been the country and had already violated immigration laws. 2. Was already detained by the government, who's job is to put citizens safety first, on charges of domestic violence and then released after ICE requested him not to be released. 3. Nobody who authorized his release will be held accountable. Truly a travesty of justice and a mockery of our laws.

The number of homicides just in Chicago each year, by the boys in the 'hood, surpass murders in mass killings. Did you ever hear the Liberal MSM rail on and on about that?? Didn't think so....

This +1000 A few converted mags I saw The baseplate just came off, they were blocked but not sealed. Another had rivets through the bottom which can be more or less easily punched out and then reinstalled. For gluing, depends on what glue, etc. Can always try heat... others can like break from shattering. If Epoxy? eh... Just get some new mags and bury these deep in the closet... (In PA of course that is....)

Some blind pinned them and glued them. Midwestpx will convert them for ya. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With a flat head screwdriver and a hammer. The mags I have show 2 round melt marks on one side of the floor plate. It took lots of prying and all I need is a few 10 rounders permanently re-modified for the range. The rest will be either out of the state, sold outside of the state, turned over to the police or destroyed in a huge bonfire in my backyard per direction of the PRNJ!WE MUST COMPLY! I am almost certain they used epoxy so heat wont help. I tried! The good thing about this is if I should move out of state in the next few weeks , all the mags can go back to normal!

Did anyone notice my sidekick sitting at the door saluting the flags? He was supervising to make sure I put them up correctly. He actually has his own group of special veterans he honors. Take a close look at this picture, he carries an honor patch on his harness for all military and police K9s lost in service. Also, take a close look at the paw print emblem on his collar.

I think I see what the problem is: there seems to be a typo in the law. I think the way the law was originally conceived, there was probably supposed to be a comma between "another" and "when," that is, "between one place of business or residence and another" and "when moving" were conceived as two different exemptions. But whoever typed up the law accidentally left out the comma, and now it reads "between one place of business or residence and another when moving" so that this represents one exemption. It now says that you have to be moving if you want to move guns between residences, and there is no provision for moving guns between residences. It should read "....between one place of business or residence and another, when moving, ..."

When I was with the PD. it was Attorney General directive that we were not even allowed to inquire as to immigration status unless someone was charged with a crime or a dwi, That was years ago, current LEO can chime in of they want and correct me if anything has changed. Remember even if you are arrested that doesn't mean you are charged with crime, you could be arrested for a lessor offense. Yes it is confusing .So i could have someone arrested and in custody and unless it ,met a certain criteria. status was was not to be inquired about. The plus side of this directive was so that an illegal immigrant could report crimes etc and call the police without fear of reprisal etc, the downside is well, you be the judge of that.
