It's Official....

I am now a grandfather. My younger son, Drew, is a late bloomer and didn't get married until March of 2014, two days after his 36th birthday. Today, he and his wife, Linda, welcomed a 7 lbs, 11 oz baby girl into the world. Her name is Maya. Not sure of the middle name yet. Tradition leaves that up to the maternal grandparents. My first grandchild.

Congrats, Bob!!! Being a late-ish reproducer myself, your son is in for a wake-up. Please remind him that the child(ren) will be going through pphases which will eventually end and go into the next phase. Pain is definitely temporary. Commitment is forever though.
